as long as we're being ridiculous with diabolo tricks why don't i suggest an equally ridiculous idea?  Fts 1-2-3-4?  i'll settle for fts 2-3-4 haha

if u can get a right wrap with you armstalled one then just pop the left diabolo up while wrapping the stalled one and sending that under and it should go back into the normal pattern.

Practice / Back for the Summertime

I'm back if anyone remembers me.  I took a year long hiatus cause of school, other hobbies but mainly because I lost interest.  After coming on randomly and watching some videos a little while back I was inspired to start diaboloing again (the limits of diabolos have been pushed a ridiculous amount this past year...).  So this vid is just a coming back vid of some stuff from the past couple days of practice that I filmed.  I also threw in some stuff that I've learned over the past year at the end of the video. - Back in the Summertime

no monkiatzu that is not the problem.  Your doing a large async shuffle and you start out with your hands in rhythm with the diabolos.  but after a while your hands fall out of rhythm.  The most obvious one where that happens is I think your second attempt?  You need to keep your hands in rhythm with the diabolos.

actually it's really easy to bullwhip or w/e you want to call it.  Just get some really thick crap string that usually come with the bad diabolos.  Then tangle them up and magic, you can whip like for forever if you do it right.  My record for whips in a row is like 20+?  This is a nice idea for 2 person stuff though.  I need some more ideas for 2 people passing.
It'd be sick if someone could bullwhip two diabolos at the same time.

offtopic- wow nice.  I use to chuck those into the pit, I can only get rudis at the moment (1 1/2 twisting).  I flipped over like the equivalent of 7 people the other day though =)

Ha thanks guys.  I tried the roll w/ the fan and it's freaking scary and it won't work.  At least i don't think it's possible.  I have another idea though like fan 360 but all in one motion in one jump.  I'll see if it works haha.

Thanks for the comments.  but if you want to see us live go to say your school's princple or headmaster or dean or w/e to give us a call =)

Garner, why didn't you like it?  It be so much more helpful to the forum if people who didn't like things in the video explained their comments instead of saying it sucked.

I'm a part of the Evolution Stunt Team and this is the debut video of the Evolution Stunt team in their new home, the E.A.S.T center or the Evolution Action Sports Team Center based out of Norwood, Massachsuetts. We are a group of gymnasts, diaboloists, jugglers, and performers. We hope you enjoy this video. If you wish to join us or book us for a show, go to for more information.

Hope you enjoy.  I realize this is mostly gymnastics but I wanted to get the word out about our team so spread the word!

I don't know maybe it's just me but ur 2d especially ur c-fan looked really jerky along with your fts 1-2 attempt.  That trick needs to be smooth to look good.  Also the minicolumns could use a little more control.  Try to get it so that you are able to not even bounce it to get it to be in mini columns.  That'll give u extra control to help the transition into the fts.  Also i find that the right sun works better than the left sun for that particular transition.  Also your 3d left is moving but it's not moving quite at the right time.  It looks like ur moving it and hoping it gets it.  Try doing it slower and more timed with the diabolos.  Good practice, keep improving!

(also the distorted ff7 music?  use the original or the AC versions ;) )

Japanese Tony Frebourg Wannabe?

I believe he's chinese first of all.  Second of all his style is more like William/Makky than Tony.  The only thing that was like Tony was the 1 diabolo nike freeze.  The split is common in china... along with the infinite suicide genocide stuff etc...  So your completely wrong.

Back to topic...  He taught Jay Chou how to diabolo =O  He just gained a lot of respect imo (yes i am a jay chou fanboy...)  Some of the slow mo did get annoying but it's a show and "civilians" can't really see everything a diaboloist can so i guess it's for them.
