i was just loking at the -cide references and i thought of a trick that you people who can do diabolo well (mainly all of you except me  )
could do a liberticide like something were you wrap yourself up so you cannot move (ie. not having the liberty to move) then doing some crazy suicide out

sorry i am typing alot lol
but as the person before my long 3 reply RAMBLE said that thing about compiling sounds like a good idea because thgen you could tell all the great diaboloists to like have a massive competition like at a convention or whatever

alternatively person who made the thread you could do it yourself

plus i know this has been done before because there is a thread on it and it is like diabolo wrestling but like (look please if someone knows what i am talking about please say  )
i know you have to like knock your partners diabolo off without your falling off
qand i know badminton and wrestling are olympic sports (well boxing is, and wrestling was in the first olympics)
phew

i know i am not very good at diabolo
but....
my sister's boyfriend and i
sometimes play a kind of diabolo badminton
its not really competative because you have to get the longest rally
but the rules are you cannot speed it up so just throw it over the net, your partner catches it rolls it along and flings it back
i suppose you could have a rally competition, our record is 37 (rubbish i know  :D )
but just an idea  you could do it alot more compepetive with people who are good at diabolo ie. trying to make it not land on your partners string (i think at least 1 bounce would be needed)

my advice is to catch it by the string as it is at least 5 times more easy !
it may not look as good but at leat it does the trik 8)

cool that might be worth trying but i dont have any friends who can do more than a forced sun it would be fun beating them once but it would get boring :(

I'm New / Re: How do you speed up your diabolo?
« on: March 26, 2006, 06:03:00 PM »
i use over the foot/leg puppetmaster(1 handed)
or chinese whips
another good way is chinese whips alternating with power thrusts(normal whips with a wrap) it gives a good image

why do all these accelerations use a wrap(well all the ones that normal people can do)
