yea its easy to do, i reckon theres loads more yoyo stuff to steal.
they seem to be mainly from trapeze or cradle positions this must be the basis of lots of yoyo tricks i guess.
mach 5 is done by getting into a trapeze then putting your other stick in the loop (like cats cradle) but from the front and putting this stick under the diabolo so you trap it between the  two sticks!
hope you can understand, wish i had a video camera...... :)

apparently the light kits are gettin redesigned as the old one broke too often (i know i snapped the leds off mine pretty soon)

the new sticks are going to be plastic which will make them flexible. i was told they dont feel very nice with multiple diabolos..... maybe thats the power stick??

i think the ratchet axle is not being made any more they had problems with too much heat from the friction or somethin. its a shame i wanted one!

Just to let you all know about "Shefcon" Sheffields annual juggling convention. This year its the 19-20 March and is to be held at goodwins hall like last year. it either £11 or 12 for the 2 days and that includes staying in the hall overnight and the public show on sat night. Its a pretty big place and there should be loads of people there! i really enjoyed it last year and the show lineup looks cool already.
more details on the provisional website at:

note the advertised price has changed, the website will be updated really soon......
it would be great to see a few diabolists there to join me, Dave p and 3-ball Dave will be there too.

Gear / Re-newing your string
« on: December 14, 2004, 12:52:13 PM »
i also found that putting a tiny bit of liquid paraffin is really good for making a dirty string slick for about half an hour!!
only works a couple of times though...

Gear / Off-balance diabolos

i also find when i stuff my circus's is my bag it squashes the cups and can take a while for them to go perfectly round again:
the moral to this story is to stack them up nicely in your bag!!

aha i will have to practice diffirent ways to get into it shown on the vid. cheers for that its cool to learn new ways to get into the same trick it helps when your trying to link them together

i  have difficulty getting into a double though, are there any tips, like does a new string help etc? also does a small exploded sprinkler help it to last longer? i have tried getting them both inside a trapeze ie a sprinkler with your stick in the loop but with no sucess, does this work at all?? if not is there a way to open it up if the diabolos are spinning fast but still gettin close together?

cheers! :)

Tricks / Mega Cracker problems
« on: December 05, 2004, 03:19:45 PM »
i dont really know about the mega cracker but i like a long string and with one hand stuff i use my empty hand to grab the string near the top to make it shorter.
hope this helps!?
