Tricks / I've just mastered....
« on: August 21, 2009, 11:22:04 PM »
It'd be interesting to see how long it takes everyone to actually master a trick.

I've found that it takes me a certain amount of time to learn a new difficult trick (ages and ages) and then much longer to make sure I can re-produce it nearly each time.

All too often I will try to show someone a new trick that I've just learned, only to have them watch me mess it up repeatedly.  With me claiming that "I just nailed that trick last night" or "You should've been looking 2 minutes ago!!!"  :-|

I reckon it'd be interesting to see how long it takes you from when you learn a new trick to when you think you've mastered it.

For some reason, the mini genocide has taken me about 6 months to master it (too long).

Also, 3 high is the bane of my existence!!!! Been practicing it seriously for about 5 years now (probably not practicing it smart enough). I'm pretty happy with where it's at now but reckon I've got about another 1-2 years before mastering it  :)

I was wondering if anyone knows of any videos or advice on passing 5 or 6 high with 2 people.

Gear / Henry's Circus - Vega light kit - please rate your opinion
« on: March 14, 2007, 04:59:15 AM »
Hi guys,

I've got Henry's circus and want to enjoy the thrill of using light kits without having to purchase Mr. Babche (not cause I don't like them but just don't want to fork out for another 3 new diabolo's if I can help it)  ;D

Does anyone know what the light kits on the Henry's are like?  issues, problems with breaking, unbalanced?

I'd love to have a bit of prior knowledge before ordering.

Thanks in advance!
