Gear / Re: Can I trust oddballs.com?« on: July 28, 2010, 08:55:53 PM »Where do you convert? The website did it for me. I just had to chose my currency before I stared to shop. i checked on google for the conversion rate and usually i just type in the amount in pounds and convert to dollars, do me a favor and make sure to post if you had to pay customs charges which is what would totally kill the cheap part of your purchase 4
Gear / Re: Can I trust oddballs.com?« on: July 28, 2010, 07:12:13 PM »
you did check the conversion rates right? its usually more because the british pound is worth more than the dollar right now as far as i know so unless they are actually selling the product for way less ordering from the UK would be a good idea, i love ordering from diabolomoves but usually the conversion rate and shipping make it way to expensive otherwise nev would get all my money
edit, i checked some prices and stuff and it seems that ordering at least from oddballs would be cheaper for some stuff, other things not so much, it all depends if you are being charged customs charges which could be avoided if they are marked as gifts, something like a sundia sun is cheaper from oddballs than from jugglingstore.com but its even cheaper from this guy on ebay that sends them directly from hong kong or taiwan, but maybe not as reliable as oddballs 5

Gear / Sundia "Nimble"« on: February 28, 2010, 04:56:41 AM »
recently i was browsing ebay, because its really the cheapest place to get sundias in the USA and i found this diabolo called the sundia nimble. So couple of questions
1. is it a new diabolo? not just some name they pulled out of a hat 2. if it is new, how is it different from the sun and fly (bearing axle on fly aside) 3. will the light kit work with it ? 4. if you have used it how does it compare to others? sorry if im asking too much here is a link for the listing i found it on http://cgi.ebay.com/Sundia-Nimble-Diabolo-NEW-Chinese-Yo-yo-Pink_W0QQitemZ310185645695QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item483881567f 8
Gear / Re: NEW Sundia Triple Bearing "Shining" Diabolo« on: November 19, 2009, 10:11:04 PM »
Jem, you really need to stop learning with bearing, to be hones ive only seen two people just do 3 with them much less learn with them,
I've tried learning 3d with both bearings and fixed axles, i tried bearing just to fool around and they made everything ten times harder get some fixed axles and your progress will be much better 9
Gear / Re: NEW Sundia Triple Bearing "Shining" Diabolo« on: November 18, 2009, 09:51:41 PM »I have been following this diabolo for a long time as I really want a bearing diabolo, but I cannot wait any longer in silence. I know Nev sells them at a great price, but I don't think I could afford the shipping as I live in the United States. Does anyone know of a place I could get a shining diabolo stateside? Or should I wait some more or just simply settle for the sundia fly? i dont want to sound hateful or anything, but at the moment a shinning fly from nev is almost 80 dollars and i dont know about shipping from him, i like nev and his shop and have ordered from him, its just that the dollar is too weak right now Shadebob i can say that buying from nev is great, but if you want a US option like Ive been looking for i found this guy on ebay his store name is diabolo world, i havent ordered from him yet so i cant tell you any experience but his prices are good, at least dollar wise and the shipping is 9.99 dollars airmail not sure if thats per diabolo or package here is the link to his store http://shop.ebay.com/diabolo_world/m.html?_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A1%257C39%253A1%257C72%253A2464&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_pgn=4 Also you could try yoyosam.com they have the sundia shinnin also in both fixed and 3 bearing versions Edit: added info 10
