I stayed at Folkerts for a few days last week and thanks to his throws i got to practise lots of 4 low. I seem to be stuck between 15-30 catches, my problem is ajusting the pattern and getting back into the rhythmn. Ive found that i can get longer more controlled runs with a bigger pattern, but i do plan on lowering it when i have better control. I had the same thing when learning 3 low. The plan was to film my 4 low progression over 3 days, but it rained all through the third day. I got quite a lot of runs inside, but the angle on the camera was too bad to upload. Best attempts i managed to get on film the weekend i went to visit Folkert. My longest run was 22 catches but we were filming at the time >.< I still cant self start so i make no progress on my own and i have no one to throw a 4th diabolo in for me =[ Theres a couple of glitches at the start of the video but i couldnt be bothered to fix it. Editing on my pc is a nightmare. 4 diabolo low attempts4 Diabolo Low Attempts - juggling videos hosted @ Juggling.tvMy biggest problem seems to be that im throwing to far to my right and the throw height isnt consistant. My throw timing got a lot better towards the end of the visit.

Nearly a year ago now langerz asked me to try a trick with 3D, i landed it after about a month and it also gave me the idea for my votw back in november. Anyway for some reason i never bothered to film the original trick idea until now. I was practicing the other day and noticed that i had it pretty solid so decided to film along with some 42's Langerz 3 diabolo trick and some 42'sLooking back on this now, im not happy with how i performed the trick. The exit looks messier than it felt, ill probably refilm soon.

Ive had this private on Youtube for a few days cause i think it sucks. But people seem to like it so ive made it public. As most of you no string tricks arent my thing, this is my only string combo, im mainly 1D integral variations, 2D wirlybirds and 3D so im way out of my comfort zone here. Lame string combo

Not the cleanest one ever done, but its not bad. 3 Diabolo VortexFilmed this last week but been having troubles using sony vegas 9.0, how the hell do you export HD? I cant work it out  So im sorry this ones just in hq Ill reupload in HD if someone can tell me how to do it

Decided i needed something so i could get used to using my new camera and editing software before i film for the collab and produce my own proper video. So i thought id do a quick 4 diabolo practice video, it was filmed a while ago only properly figured out how to use the camera and software yesterday and its taking me hours to get it to upload because youtubes uploader wasnt working properly. 4 diabolo practice video (11th september)Sometimes i get runs to about 6-7 catches, ive pushed to 8 a couple of times. Couldnt anything like that on film tho =[ Anyone got any tips, i no not many people can run 4 on the forum, but any advice from anyone would be helpful.

Hey i got my opening fairly consistent so i thought id make use of the practice section  I can open fairly well (not great) but im still far off being able to shuffle I usually get between 3-4 ott, im happy if i can get the red one back to my right hand Wondering if theres anything obvious that im doing wrong. Hopefully someone can help. Really Bad 4 Low attempts.Told you they were bad only really uploading this for tips and fun

I wasnt originally going to upload this, but i was cleaning up my videos today and decided to get rid of some as i felt i had to many messy 3D videos. Ive changed my picture from 3D sprinkler to a hyperloop fan, on Firefox the image hasnt changed and i still have 3D sprinkler, on Internet Explorer it has changed to hyperloop fan. Why is this happening?

Dont expect anything stylish, smooth or original. I made this video cause i was bored and i thought it would be fun to film some diabolo in the snow (it was  ). Most tricks are just ideas i had on the spot, so there not practiced or smooth (i screw up quite a bit). The original "I just learnt to..." thread was the most popular thread on the forum. Long forum threads induce an extra burden on the forum database server, so to keep things running smoothly around here I have started archiving these threads by year. If you really feel like reading them all, there are about 1000 posts per year ( 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005). There may also be more years of threads since this message was written. Have a look around. Otherwise, just post in the most recent version of this thread. It should be near the top of the Tricks section. It almost always is. Ive been planning on making a proper diabolo video since i hit 1 year of diabolo in October, but due to bad weather ive only been able to make crappy 3D progress videos. Some of the tricks arent as smooth as i would like them, but again thats due to awful string and awful weather.
