I love heavy suns, i learnt 3D on them and i used to find a lot of 3D tricks easier that way. For a long time i could only do 3D suicides on heavy suns. I use the suns with plastic washers now though cause there easier on my wrists.

what about string size?
is it more difficult with shorter string?
I find that 3 is easier with shorter string. I dont like running 3 on long string it just feels weird for me. I find that having a consistent string length helps with all tricks/numbers. I always keep it floor to chest, sometimes a bit shorter.

In my opinion, learning the hover makes learning the timing of the opening alot easier. Also makes the diabolos run at the same speed all 3, which is what made wrap start worse for me.

I am motivating him to learn more, by telling him to get a more stable shuffle first. Once the shuffle is stable enough he'll get the tricks easily.

You didnt really land it. Dont think it counts if one of the diabolos is dead. I still think you should work on getting a better shuffle before working on tricks. If you cant hold the pattern for more than 30 catches your not really gonna learn anything.

Buttery skills sir, still cant spot at what point you actually frontwrap the diabolo its that quick...
Its a sh*t sun, the one where it lands you in a left wrap. Only half way through i put it into a vortex

Oh its just me being picky i guess, the diabolo hit the stick when in the trapeze at the end, the diabolo tilted.

Im just impressed that your 5 high is solid enough to lower. You cant shuffle yet but the drop is looking good. I wish i could hold my 4 high stable enough to lower. Cant even imagine 5!

You're about as badass as ettienne. Record for 42 qualify. Etienne obviously did more, and can do with a qualify, but no video.
Nice trick too.
Diabolo is not a competition. If you want to get into numbers ive done around 60 42's before and im sure if practiced it i could push 100. Its an infinite trick really, anyone who can do more than 10 with a bit of practice should be able to keep it going for ages. But you cant compare me to Etienne on 42's! Hes a much better diaboloist than me, that kids just insane! To everyone else, thanks for you comments  I know this isnt exactly the most interesting video ever. I am thinking of filming a practice video soon, been too long since ive filmed any 1D and 2D. Hopefully ill manage to get a good 4D run on film too. I was planning on making a proper video a while back, but my computer cant handle HD making editing a nightmare. So tacky practice video is the best i can do im afraid.

Nearly a year ago now langerz asked me to try a trick with 3D, i landed it after about a month and it also gave me the idea for my votw back in november. Anyway for some reason i never bothered to film the original trick idea until now. I was practicing the other day and noticed that i had it pretty solid so decided to film along with some 42's Langerz 3 diabolo trick and some 42'sLooking back on this now, im not happy with how i performed the trick. The exit looks messier than it felt, ill probably refilm soon.

3D low with bearings is horrific, you pretty much have to use a sync pattern and a very flat sync pattern which in my opinion looks horrible. Its very hard to hold the pattern i dont think i could get more than 40-50 ott last time i tried and i can usually hold 3 low up to 10 minutes on fixed axle. They just dont react well to left hand lifting which is the most important part of 3D. Get yourself 3 fixed axle diabolos, i beleive you can buy 3 fixed axles of www.diabolomoves.co.uk and just fit them to your current diabolos, thats probably the cheapest way.
