I haven't been diagnosed myself but reading through newspapers and net article leads me to suspect that i am at least mildly autistic

my opinion is that regarding a mental attribute as a "disability" is a very western trait sort of a OMG your not normal you must be defective

its better to think of life as a tapestry and we are the glittery bits

remember it takes all kinds  :D

peace and love
to my fellow diaboloist

heaviest of all your "options"

i never found a 10 kg diabolo option         :p

but i'd certainly give it a go  ;D
i wonder if an elevator would be impossible
(just how heavy would a diabolo need to be to counteract its own spin)

those horrible curl ups depend on your tricks and technique and string clarity 90% of the time but sometimes it just wraps
not a huge issue id say with magical henrys yellow unless you've kept diaboloing a few weeks past your strings use-by date

another reason to choose harlequins for multiple diabolo is they have a greater length than other diabolos and so are more stable
in the air (anguler momentum means it takes more disturbance to shift their axis)

harlequins harlequins harlequins
we will convert the world

no no diabolo class :(

i knew quite a bit more diabolo than our diabolo tuter

45 seconeds in the first vidio?
put your arms into "around one arm" position and then do a wrap catch with your non driving stick let the diabolo carry round and over your driving stick then pop it off the string rinse and repeat

harlequnis ar just what ive always used, i own some finese G2's but i can't handle the lightness

you must have string climb its the law also note high throw at beggining of routine obligitoryness

extra weight = spins longer and hyperloop has more inertia so is more stable

working on 3 low at the moment doesn't, feel like a problem

used to hurt in my first couple of years of diabolo but i got over it

mabye the rest of the world is just wussy

:p

the stripped sticks are an idea i got off this site somewhere

harlequins ARE my diabolo of choice

integral to genocide to stick release (as done in 2nd vid) is definitly my drop trick

i'm calling that sequence the apocalacide  :)

tight space, u better believe it, but thank goodness for all the excalibur living room practice which fine tunes the control

cheers guys
I went on to preform a slightly updated version of this at the National circus conference of australia and have been slowly tweaking and changing the routine ever since

I heard from a little bird that some of the skateboarding communitys in australia have started getting into diabolo as well
and cos there not afraid of hurting themselves they go straight into genocides and intergrals and all that jazz

interesting cross discipline proliferation

mabye we can look at other places to expand diabolo other demographics rather than just kids who get bought to juggling clubs by thier mums (we've all been there, Thanks mum) after all its up to us!
