Hey guys,
I'd like to start a little discussion about the order in which you combine 1, 2 and 3 Diabolos within a routine.
I thought a lot about this in the past and I am still not sure which way to go for myself. I always found the idea to start a routine with 3 diabolos and then go to 1 and 2 really nice because I was kinda bored of this 1, 2, 3 scheme in so many routines. But I also think, for the audience, 3 Diabolos could be more impressive than one, no matter how hard the tricks are. So the one Diabolo part could lose it's intensity when the audience already saw 3 or 2 Diabolos even if the tricks are technically on the same or a higher level.
At the moment I think, for my own routine, I'd like to go with one or two 3D tricks at the beginning then go to 1D which I try to fluently combine with 2D then go over to some vertax and finish with my "best" 3D trick.
With this order I hope to get the attention right to the beginning and keep that focus over the following 1 and 2D part. And of course I still save the crowd-pleaser tricks like vertax-gen and 3D fts-combo for the finish.
So what are you're thoughts? Have you already considered getting out of the 1,2,3 scheme or would you enjoy seeing this? Do you think this is a good Idea or do you have reasons to stay with 1,2,3? And what do you think a "non-juggling" audience would react to this in comparison to 1,2,3?
I'd love to hear your opinions to this!

In the beginnig a slow shuffel is good because it gives you more time for placing each throw. It is very important to do the throws with your left hand. Since your hover looks good, try to concentrate on your left hand only. The first throw with your left hand starts already while unwrapping the hover. Once you get those throws, shuffeling becomes more easy. You could also compare those left throws to what you do when you do 2D around the leg, here you give every diabolo its direction, which is what you have to do with 3. (just a bit faster) Also think about how you do the throws. I've seen two major variations. Some do the shuffle with only their wrist and some do it with their whole forearm. But its inavitable to give every diabolo the right push so the shuffle doesn't break down. I hope that may help

Hey there again! This monday I came home from the Juggling Convention in Rostock, Germany. Back there I met Christian and we jammed a lot and also got some sweet tricks on tape. Because the Berlin juggling convention already starts tomorrow and I want to film there too, I didn’t had much time for this one to edit. But with some nice little coding-tricks I created a pretty surreal characteristic for this Video which was easy to apply to the whole footage and, in my opinion, fits well with the music and the color-mood. Hey and Hello! I recently viewed some footage I filmed this summer and since I wasn’t fully satisfied with it at the moment I shoot it, it became just some unused data on my hard drive. But as I found this beat by Gramatik (Link) I couldn’t resist to do something with it. The result is this Video: Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Daf-0qU5deg&feature=c4-overview&list=UUGqx8vey9z9WHEJFLwDwEiAMost of the juggling-videos are made to show the tricks the juggler does but, nearly in every video, this results in pretty boring shots where the tricks might be cool but not the filming/editing. My plan with this video was to create a high amount of dynamic perspectives, cuts, and camera movements while you still can enjoy the tricks. So I hope I can get some feedback about; if you think I reached my goal and weather you think it is a good goal to put a higher priority to the editing rather to the juggling. Or if the Juggling becomes to hard to follow because of the amount of cuts. Just leave your thoughts here! Peace!

Oh dude... i can remember the time when i watched a video and thought "lets go outside and try this stuff" but after this video i just thought i will never leave the computer again because reallity sucks compared to that ****.
Technically its the best video since Intermezzo and your skills, dear robin, are just TOO DAMN HIGH!
And an small note at the end: since german law sucks in many ways, we're not able to watch the video on youtube itself (due to copyright of the music).
So it would be nice if you upload it to juggling.tv or vimeo.com so that everyone can take a look at your awesome work!

Oh man there aren't much words to describe what I thaught when i first saw that video!
But I really really like that video for one special reason and that is because you weren't like "oh hey i can do that vertax/normal thing and i already have a trick" no, you found that style and worked on it and you invented that amount of new **** to release all at once.
And thats why we're all so speechless! You gave us all a new concept to think about while showing off what you "made possible" with it!

I still think there wasn't any convention on this planet before where so many of the best diabolists came together and where you could see that much of the latest **** all those people came up with!

Its good to still see someone doing Vertax without bearings!
But i wouldnt recommend suns for that purpose! I think Taibolo or Cricus work better because they aren't going off the vertax position that easily, what makes all look much cleaner.

By the way exactly the same trick at 8:12 I already did in two videos (e.g. Hold On Tight)... but that doesn't matter because this video is just awesome! I am really up to take my sticks, camera and create something !

And what the camera perspectives belongs, i thaught "hey these tricks aren't new and so show them at least in a nice/strange/new perspective and so i did (in fact, when i edited the video i noticed that it cloud be weird to watch but, hey, did you ever seen a antisuicide combo filmed like that ^^ ?
