Gear / Re: Your diabolos colors. Why did you choose them?
« on: November 02, 2009, 05:16:53 PM »
i have a pink marbled triple bearing sundia(i didnt get to choose) and black fly(i didnt choose) and a transparent red sundia sun(i didnt choose) a cheap purple diabolo(i didnt shoose) and last, a blue and yellow diabolo(that of course i did not choose)

personally i perfer sundia suns. they fell much more stable and have a larger axel. i also find it easier to correct with smooth bodys

Gear / Re: Sundia String Becoming Fuzzy

i love using really rough string, so it takes me about 5 minutes to finish rubbing.

edit: this is because i use flys and triple bearings, so the string never gets cuaght up.

I think you'll find it was plenty constructive.  Far more than yours anyhow.
how is that constructive. its basically saying flat out "i hate you, and your trick sucks" this discussion is going nowhere. hes 14, and a good diaboloist. maybe that trick was hard for him. sean has mentioned he couldnt get 2d suns, so this could be a good trick for him.

218. when kids everywhere ask you to buy them diabolos for their birthday.

Tricks / Re: Genocides - Mini Genocides

You'll have to be a bit more specific as in where in the trick does the stick hit your finger? After you've caught the diabolo (seems most likely to me)? The solution could be the same as I already posted a few posts back. Reserve a bit more string for the mini-g The longer the string, the less speed the stick has when you try to catch it.
usually its after i catch it, but if i use more string, im having trouble getting it around fast enough, but i guess i need to practice, thanks for your tips!

when i do mini-g i use magic knot to enter, but i have i pretty big problem(that is almost gone) i consistantly hit my finger so hard that ive broken it bfore, and im trying to figure out how not to. i can avoid hitting my hands more often now, but i still do sometimes.

now work on your shuffle.

What you need to do is correct the outer cup, and keep the string in line with the axle!!!! That way the diabolo won't miss the string!!  :-X
that helps a little, but i cant get the stick to strike the outer cup hard enough to do a good correction. right now, i correct with inner cup and by hitting the diabolo during a hover wrap.

none of those comments were meant to offend you. people may seem harsh, but you will thnak them later if you take your advice. and if youre going to post the video up here, dont remove it so fast that this becomes a useless topic.

Tricks / Re: 2d Mini genocide entry's anyone?
« on: October 13, 2009, 08:37:06 PM »
if you can move really fast, you could left wrap left diabolo, backside mount the right diabolo any way you want. mini gen right diabolo, unwrap left dabolo while pulling right diabolo into a hover wrap. then unwrap and go back into the shuffle. you could do something else with your left diabolo, it just has to stay in place.

isnt the video showing continuous infinite suicide releases and caught with a genocide?

Tricks / Re: Integrals??? HELP!
« on: October 13, 2009, 08:33:37 PM »
i found a really simple integral. hold both sticks in one hand, grab the string with the other hand, swing the diabolo into a trapeze, throw both sticks as you swing the diabolo counterclockwise over your right hand. if done correctly, both sticks will fly at diffrent speed and spin around the diabolo and your finger. when the sticks lose speed, simply catch both sticks.

i learned wrap start several months ago. i learned it using two sundia flys. i realized sundia flys turn alot when doing a hover wrap. its also much harder to wrap and unwrap when  its going really fast. correcting them was easy since they are very responsive, but i need to know how to correct the outer cup. when i try to correct the outer cup, the diabolo completely misses the string.

just today i was practicing 2d. i was workin on alot of arm stalls, eventually it got to the point where my wrists were all covered in string burns, so i tried to shift my arm to avoid the burned areas. im not sure what happened, but the string got caught up and jumped up right into my face! the other diabolo fell on my foot. that really sucked.

most stupid thing ive done was i was in a hurry so i tied a loose knot on my sundia carbons. i practiced for a bout 10 min, then when i was doing a vertax genocide, the stick flew off at full speed, my 2 year old cousin ran by, and it flew in between his legs. close call.

if youve read my other posts, you will see i have a knack for detroying things, losing diabolos, or hurting people due to carelessness.

Gear / Re: Sundia sun -- 255 g, 275 g or 290 ?
« on: October 07, 2009, 12:34:44 AM »
i have a 255 gram, but i really want a 275. ive played with one and it seems their weight is the best, not too light, not to heavy.
