good job. i recently learned 3d. it seems you shuffle to your left, both stick point down, and your right hand should give more drive. then your left hand would work as hard.

when the diabolo tilts toward you, turn, because when you turn to the left, the diabolo will stay and look tilted to the left. dont turn too fast or too slow. the diabolo will eventually tilt toward you slowly, so you need to turn at the same speed it is tilting. for stopover, increase the speeed a little so it has momentum to stay in the air. hope this helps, good luck.  by the way, vertax just sounds better than excalibur, but they are the same.

Gear / Re: Sundia String Becoming Fuzzy
« on: September 01, 2009, 03:52:04 AM »
well... i dont know what to say becuase i only had my string get fuzzy once. usually it breaks before it gets fuzzy. switch to henry's yellow string anyway, its much better. the only place that gets fuzzy is the part at the tip of the stick. also, thin sundia strings dont get fuzzy, but they are extremely grippy, so it wraps and tangles alot.

im still confused on when they come out and where to get them. also, will g4 replace g3 on store shelves like g3 replaced g2 and g1? g4 is way too different to be the only finesse out there.

I don't think anyone's ever claimed anything different. The prototypes of the Sundia shinings have been out since May 7th. So let me get this straight - you've learned 2d and 3d in a span of ~3 months?

my 3d isnt very good though. i have an average of 5 ott. ive gotten up to 10 ott but it falls apart quick enough thaat i cant do any tricks.

i understand that it would be easier to use the same diabolos but if you tell them not to use different diabolos, some people may not be able to afford another diabolo and some people dont want 2 of the same diabolos. i learned 2d with a sundia triple bearng shining and a 255 gram sundia sun. i learned 3d with the same 2 and a sundia fly. so its not impossible, its just easier to use the same diabolos.

Secondly, why are you trying to learn 3d a month after you learned 2d? I'd try expanding the 2d part a bit more before going on to 3d. But that's my opinion though.

i learned sprinkler and suns and i couldnt learn fan so i got bored. i decided to try 3d because it gives me something to do. also, could anyone tell me how siteswap works?

Name: Kyle
Location: California
Age: 13
Website: working on one

1. How many years have you diaboloed for?
i started about 3 years ago but dropped of a little and played several times a month. about 5 months ago i started harder tricks.

2. What or who got you started?
my cousin bought me one because we havent met for a long time

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general?
my parents have encouraged me to do anything involving hands ever since i was young and i got hooked with cards, pens, cups, diabolos, and anything else

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average?
probably 3, but sometimes i find a new trick that i will work on for 4

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo?
at my school and at parks for younger kids very often. sometimes i perform for kids in hospitals

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ?
balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks, cards, poi, glowsticks, i dont know if pens, rubiks cubes, and coins count though.

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string?
sundia sun for axel and trpel shining for bearing. sundia short red carbon fiber sticks. Thin white sundia strings

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best?
since i learned 2 about a month ago i dont know any tricks. 3 i barely hav a shuffle past 3 ott so i like 1 diabolo right now

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?
i love vertax genocide, it took me a whil to learn though

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?
vertax integral to mini-g to infinite suicide

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)?
3d shuffle is getting really annoying since i keep dropping it on my toe in my room(sundia fly is heavy and hard). im also working on integrals and mini-g

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you?[/url]
Ryo yabe is basically all that has inspired me to keep trying

Videos / Re: Any help with 3 sync?
« on: August 26, 2009, 05:03:36 AM »
i've been workin on 3d for about a week and i already hav 9 ott. i've found that i shouldnt worry about my left hand but drive hard with my dominant right hand. its the same way i learned 2d.

Gear / Re: The new Sundia 'Shining' diabolo - worth getting?
« on: August 20, 2009, 03:34:44 AM »
my mom bought one for me oe accident. i told her to by me a fly and she came back with the shining. i quickly realized it spins fast and has a much longer axel for finger grinds. i think they are probably my favorite diabolos
