It's actually not a crystal sun. It's a light sun. there are two different cup types for sundia suns, and this is the lighter variety. with the washers you have, this is the 255g sun. crystal suns come in 265g at the lightest and 290g at the heaviest.

This is definitely the lightweight sundia crystal sun. 255 g. This is also ultimately referred to as the crystal sun.

Just to correct you, the heavy suns with transparent cups can range from 290 g with metal washers to 275 g with plastic or carbon washers.

Thanks!  :)
So it's Multax or Galexis?

It's whatever you wanna call it!

And no matter if you call it multax or galexis, you can always call it cool!  8)

Already done, i think name is "Galexy" !

Over my dead body... only reasonable name for this would be "multax" for "multi-axis"

I'm sorry to say it, but technically this belongs in off-topic. Theres only 3 short clips of diabolo in a 22 minute long video... from the EJC?

"22 minutes of what happened in Millstreet" - Apparently diabolo didn't happen in Millstreet.

I'm speechless, this has got to be the ****ing peak of diabolo right here...

To be honest, I actually didn't like this video that much, the soundtrack annoyed me, your popping needs more "pop" and some of the diabolo shots were rather unclean.

I liked the little twist in your combo at 1.37 though! Nice touch!

Man this makes me wish I were there even more...

Ps. Ofek Shilton, is that you at 2.30?

Been waiting to see some more from Arvi! Met him last year at the FDC, a proper Finnish diabolo beast!

Hoping to scrape together the money for another FDC this year!

It's a really nice yoyo video and everything, but I would appreciate if you posted this in a yoyo forum instead.

Honestly, this RecordSetter site is a big joke... every single diabolo record in there have already been beaten, or they could altogether be beaten in about 30 minutes of recording... the only real place to find records would be on this site.

I saw this while drunk last night, and I swear to god I first realized now that this wasn't a video by Jarle and HÃ¥vard...

I think backside is better, it contains atleast some information. Situation, where your diabolo is under the string. Darkside is just silly.

"The dark side of the moon" makes a lot more sense than the backside of the moon. It provides more information. The dark side of the string is the one you cant see = under the string.

Excalibur on the other hand I still never understood... why did we ever choose that word... who invented that?

Not darkside. Its almost as lame a name as excalibur.

I've always hated "excalibur", but what would you call a darkside catch instead? It also used to be called backside a lot.

It's a nice tutorial and everything Richard, but there's a few corrections I'd like to make.

First of all, the "reverse catch" is more commonly called a left darkside, and the overall trick would rather be a wrapped mini-genocide with an extra swing. Integrals are classified as a trick where you release both sticks, and only hold the string, this is a wrapped mini-genocide :)

For next time: Do the trick slower and possibly break it up more clearly in the video.

Buying a set of high-end diabolos will always be worth it. I would suggest buying them, both for the experience of trying a wider range of diabolos, but also because learning 3 would probably be easier with taibolos, due to them being great with numbers. Go for it.

A tip for when you practice 3 diabolos: Practice each and every day. You need to keep up the practice, or it will draw out for a long long time. At least 1 hour every day for some months should do the trick.

Hey guys. I figured I might as well make this video public, since it's some months old and my new video will be here soon. I actually find this a more comfortable way to start fts combos involving 1's.
Dont mind the guy in the beginning... he was hit in the nuts by a passing club.
