Well I can answer you directly here with saying that in one hour today I got something like 10 times higher 10otts and about 4 times higher than 15otts. I do practice this one hour a day and it work pretty good so far.

So may be we could start a list here because I have not found anything on jongle.net. I will already look for all 3d high siteswaps I can found on videos and then if it's ok post it here as a ressource for high diabolo players. If you guys have some personal ones you want to share it will be great to have it here.

Hey guys,

Is there anywhere on the site or on the net (except artofdiabolo) where most of the 3d high siteswaps that have been created are listed? I know that Priam has a shirt where most of them are listed but is it as well written somewhere in here?

Thanks

General / Does skills improve when....
« on: March 21, 2011, 07:27:19 PM »
Hey,
I have an existential question about some phenomenons which I think influence my skills but only for a short period of time. Here is what I mean:
I've noticed that when my string brake and I reuse the string (with extrem MB), or when I change to do high diabolo from a gym to an outside space, or when I switch diabolo for example from finess to taibolo, or when I practiced high diabolo in a windy day and then without wind, that my skill changes. I need an adaptation time before being able to do the same tricks with different types of diabolo or to do high diabolo in different spaces.
I was wondering if those factors which plays on you feelings of diabolo make you improve, I mean that you get stronger and more solid in every kind of situation or if inversely those factor would make you take longer to learn a trick and take weird habits.
I hope you guys have been facing some of this when playing high in different spaces, often changing type of diabolo or length of string to help me figure out if it's a good thing.

It's amazing how you always managed to create something so creative and fresh. You're style as well as your tricks are very clean. And great job on the editing and choice of the music, I love it.
I so look forward to see you in RENNES :)

That head mounted shot is nice! Where and how is it attached to the head? Could the quality be better in any way? Especially the colors.

This shot is taken with inside lights and from what I've read, the Gopro camera is not good for low and inside lights. Maybe that's why it does not look so good.

Well, Nico, if it's not indiscreet, what camera or type of camera do you use as your main one ?

Well I did not thought about that kind of use but it's a good idea  :)

And yeah when looking through some reviews on it on the web, I found it was used in extrem sports. But what interested me was the hd quality and everything I said before.

Hi,

I'm right now looking for a new camera at a reasonable prize and I fell on this little camera and found it very interesting in terms of prize, quality, size, and much more.
So I was wondering if any you had any experience with this camera, and would recommend it to me.

Sorry for being a buzzkill but last year at the same time, Etienne had done something like 90 42. So I bet that now he can go over a hundred.

Hi,

I have a question about what has been discussed in this topic but I didn't found a good answer. I have start practising the self start 4d low from 3d diabolo trapeze and I was wondering if any of the highly skilled diabolist on this forum would have any tips they have been finding out when learning 4d low (I'm thinking to Dodson for exemple). I'm asking for advince on the start mainly and if you do have any for the shuffle I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

I really enjoyed reading that, and thank you for putting time and effort into sharing such a great experience.
But after thinking about those teams I was wondering something: is it their jobs to be performers or for all of them it's more like a hobbie and they do that beside something else ?
In any case I'm really respectful in front of so much talent and skills. I've been recently watching lots of Asian solo routine and I've really been amazed by them. Any way I hope I'll be able some day to make the way over there !!!
