I think Dodson said something to me about this, and he says that you get into it afterwards and develop a technique to avoid them from turning (at least i think it was Dodson :-X)

Well, if you are going to learn something advanced in diabolo, its not sure that three hours will give you progress.
What sorted out my beginner shuffle was reading this entire thread, try every advice it had, and after three of four days, i finally got it, due to constant diaboloing xD
My tips is to have your right stick loose, and not move it, and only drive with your left hand at first.
Keep your stick tips facing each other ( if that makes any sense :-| )while learning it.
Try 1D around the leg, there is so many brilliant ways to learn this, but i would guess the most important one is to get enough speed on both diabolos.
And when you practice, remember big achievements can only be reached with hard work.
Good luck on your shuffle Zac   :-D

You get tools to tighten your diabolo with if you buy evolution 1.
But i suggest you either look around your house to find some, or just simply try to screw them back together with your hands.
That does not work as good, but it can be done.
Remember when i didnt know what this was, and my diabolo fell apart.
I was terrified:P

Yes! Awesome, it is so good to have some other norwegian diaboloists.
Insane skills, beatiful locations, and well, perfect video.
Nydelig folkens, virkelig kunst :P
Lykke til videre.

This is a matter of personal preference.
Check out the Taibolo thread:
And check out the Sun thread:
I'm kinda stuck on the same decision, but i have much info on both of them now, so i just have to think it out, and so do you, unless you want to know what people prefer, like i have also asked several times.
Good luck on your decision.

I think Tobi has made some from Henrys carbons, and some silicon grips?
But not sure if there is a real distributor of sticks like that, maybe some brand i don't know about.

i agree!!! stop spamming us with minor videos and take time and practise to come up with a cool video!
it will be more satisfying for yourself to...

I wouldn't say she is spamming, she is doing what she enjoys to do, and that is diabolo and editing.
I just gave her an advice.

I'm sorry, but why do you make this many videos?
For a few days ago you posted a video with the exact same name, except summer was replaced with juggling.
I do not mean that you should stop making videos, but maybe save up tricks for a really good one.

I'm a dedicated carbon user, with MB and Henrys in my arsenal.
Both of them play really nice, but i used Henrys longer than I've used Mr Babache.
The Henry sticks have string through its core, and Mb has it tied to its stick tips, so there is a little bit of different feel.
Hope this helps.

Both of them are using finesse G3 and Henrys string.

Gear / Re: MB Evolution Kit 1 or Evolution Kit 7?

You could combine those two ;)

That's what I'm doing ;)
Its not working properly, as i mentioned before.

Gear / Re: MB Evolution Kit 1 or Evolution Kit 7?
« on: August 04, 2010, 08:05:42 AM »
I prefer the evo 1, but that is a matter of taste.
Some love wide-axles, some don't.
If you are going to visit the store you could try out both and see what suits you?
Good luck on your choice.

« on: August 03, 2010, 09:59:53 AM »
I got three pairs of both, and its not really working out great for me.
The evo 7 kits helps my fingergrinds a little, but i got evo 1 on as well, but if i were only to use evo 7 they would have been better due to its shape.
My evo 7 and evo 1 wont fit real good, because the axle wont get really into the hubs, like they did with my old black standard hubs, so they have to be tightened a couple of times a day.
I'm not sure if that's just an error i got, or something other people got too?

Are you talking of 2D wrap acceleration?
If you are, this is just a matter of practice, just like Looby said.

This is mindblowing stuff. Every single thing is perfectly matched, and the vibe is there.
Those nine minutes passed too quick for me.
Awesome :D

Gear / Re: Problem with finesse G4 (wrapping up)
« on: July 12, 2010, 09:20:27 PM »
Never experienced a wrap up with my shining, it shouldnt be possible due to the axle aint moving, so if im right you maybe have loose cups or your bearings are getting a bit messed up? No experience here though.
