Yeah I used them a few times, really heavy and hard to control, and the whistle they make can be quite annoying. Still haven't been able to get the one-cupped one going. The woman at the stall in China showed me though, crossed string and a strange speed up while rotating on the spot... then she dropped it off the string and let it spin on the floor like a spinning top

Some 'traditional' diabolos I picked up in China over a year ago. Interesting, no?

I couldn't be bothered to read the other posts... but great video! (I'm a big torrent fan myself) so thanks for sharing. I was the 4th one to grab it and left it seeding for a while, unfortunatly I can only seed at about 10kb right now... but every little counts

Sounds awesome, if the juggling order hasnt gone through yet I'll get the manager to check if we can stock them. If we can, other shops must be able to.

Definatly tell them, it might not be their fault but if theyve shipped a faulty product its not yours either. If it is faulty, then they can send it back to the manufacturer. They should be happy to replace it for you.

Fix two little nuts between the knot and the bottom of your stick, which lets the string rotate freely like the babache sticks. Make sure you get ones small enough that the knot cant slip through though.

I'll show you on saturday in the shop, and some combos to work on with it too. Other people are better at the arm stuff than me though.

Nottingham here, as Testiflette pointed out. Also, i like the jugerling shop in nottingham near ICE9, the man who runs the shop is quite good at the old diabolo. The shop is called Jugglers, I work there. Feel free to come in a mess around in the shop, although it is small, but bring your own diabolos I'm in on saturdays, and maybe some other days soon, (afternoons off from college) so I might see you around. Theres loads of regulars in the shop so if you wanna meet people and mess around with tricks then its a good place to check out. The guy you're refering to is probably steve. He's left now though . I might get round to actually going to the juggling club murifri talked about, you never know.

Incredible, in my opinion, you must be one of the best diaboloists around

Finesse, hands down.
This has probably been discussed elsewhere though.
