i use oddballs in the UK, to my understandings they ship worldwide but they probably dont have the best prices if you have to factor in shipping as well for the US

@samuli, can you post a review, maybe even a video or some photos of it when you get them? would be interested to have a closer look at them and see how they perform  :)

Videos / Re: Two monobolo vertax

i had two thoughts, firstly, just wow. and secondly how is he still standing after spinning that much!?
in response to whether monabolos make vertax easier, i have played with one before (a long time ago) and i seem to remember the traditional ones are weighted so that they dont really work regularly, you have to put a twist in the string or something to start them and they sort of fall into vertax, so i guess you could say it keeps the diabolo flatter/ straiter in vertax?

was this all done in after effects or was it a performance and light show combined? I couldn't quite work it out!

string is incredibly varied, everyone likes different string and different colours, i've used some henries stuff and some oddballs own brand. oddballs own brand has been my favourite so far. but ya string types, and lengths, and colours are all preference.

in response to where to buy tiabolo's, i depends where you live!

fixed is definitely the way in my opinion. i like both circus and tiabolo's. i find tiabolo's nicer if im doing numbers as it's lighter on the arms and you can go for longer, however circus's may be easier to learn two with, as they are heavier and stay inline easier. I prefer circus for 1 diabolo (all round axel is best for vertax, but i like the twist for string stuff as its wider and wraps up a lot less)

benefit of tiabolo is that the axel is fine when you get it and you dont have to buy a new one, where as circus i feel you sort of have to so they come to around £30-35 each instead of £25.
(epics are like tiabolo's and circus's are like finnesse)

i love both my circus and my tiabolo, but i would like some epics some day....
hope that helped.

i had a simular problem, one day i was playing, i dropped the diabs and then put them back on and was super slippy, i just replaced it after a while and it worked fine, parts of it are just annoying.
