Videos / Re: Collaboration 2012 - call for videos!
« on: September 22, 2012, 07:28:54 PM »
I have practiced for nothing since April (maybe even longer) and haven't visited here for a long time :(
However I will try to film something tomorrow as I'm going to think of some tricks for the performance at school.
Well, I will try my best...

For the second video, William's part is between 43:59-49:10 and it has a much better quality

I think the narrator talked too much :(

Where should I send him?
I film today or tomorrow ...

upload the clips to Mediafire or Dropbox(they are recommended), then send the download link to collab2011 "at" diabolo.ca , change the "at" to "@"

I have just finished filming something, after having some minor editing I will send them ;)

It's funny but also cool!
Although there are only 1D tricks, I never feel bored during watching the video. Instead, I feel bored for my poor skills... :P
Hope to see another video from you! :-D

His 4D start looks quite solid now, that great!
Some of the tricks' arrangements are different from before, but the whole performance still looks amazing. Can someone answer me how many hours does he spend on practising each day?

I had seen the last trick at some videos... but it still makes me surprised, especially he did it so well! Clap for you, William ;)

Awesome! There are so many new and incredible ideas, just after such a short time of the publishing of your previous video!
Also I think the video is very well filmed and edited, so don't worry! I appreciate it very much ;)

I can't think of a word that can represent my feeling... That's incredible :o

Performances / Re: William at EJC 2011 Better Quality and More Content

He reacted so fast when the diabolos were nearly collapsed :o
BTW the whole performance was great. I am thinking that if his 4D low was stable enough at that time, would he perform around the leg 8)

Gear / Broken Taibolo Carbon Stick
« on: September 10, 2011, 11:24:29 AM »
I was practising excalibur advanced genocide but I failed to throw the diabolo right up, instead I threw it away (but not so far). What happened next is that the stick hit the axle of the diabolo at a very high speed and... the stick was broken :'( :'( :'( I had
just bought it for one month :'( :'( :'(

Both of them are non-human being, their skills are so great!
Arata's excalibur skill is so good, I can't believe that the diabolo can spin for so long :o

Mr.Tancle gave us a funny performance! He made me laughed from the beginning to the end of the video ;)
But he didn't put on his shoes, so his diabolos kept on falling down :P

Mr.阿搞 had done a great job! Keep going forward ;)

I'm New / Re: Learning 2 diabolo! keeping the shuffle going
« on: June 27, 2011, 11:03:20 PM »
Do you mean the diabolo you wrapped was turning clockwise (looking from the top)? Start it with the front cup facing to the left side and upwards a little bit and unwrap the diabolo when it is about at the correct angle. It is normal for the diabolo turning clokwise(and tilting) in hover start (I have this problem since I learnt 2D). Also, the hover start should not last for so long (It is hard to control when you have just started learning 2D), once you get the feeling and the diabolo is about the correct direction, you can unwrap it and have a try on the shuffle. These video may help you:
2 Diabolo tutorial I'm not the person in the video :P
