« on: November 09, 2013, 08:08:01 PM »
Bought a pair of sundia led sticks a while ago of which one the screw in parts broke off, going to replace it soon but my god the sticks are pretty damn awful to use and they break so easy... anyone making any decent ones or care to make some?

Gear / What can i use to lubricate the bearings?
« on: August 23, 2013, 10:56:07 AM »
On my second pair of bearings for the diabolo shining now which i have used in the last 6 months which seems alot allready imo and the latest pair are all of a sudden very very noisy which makes me not want to use it... i opened it up and have tightened all the parts etc but no change... on inspecting both bearings in the diabolo one looks perfectly fine but the other seems to have next to no lubrication? could i just use wd40 to fix that problem or should i use something else as im sure this is the reason why im getting all this noise...  thanks

Tricks / tomicide help
« on: August 09, 2013, 01:57:28 PM »
Hey I'm trying to learn the tomicide from Richards tutorial video but I'm having a problem which is when I throw the right stick over and pull up and let go of the left stick, the right stick always drags towards the axle and hits it... tried a few different things to stop it but no luck... how do I prevent this? The strings stay so long in the videos I've seen

From personally experience of teaching my five year old boy who has been playing it for about three months now and has learnt quite a few tricks including attempted suicides, finger grinds etc and he has been using my old cyclone quart triple bearing diabolo with the aluminium sticks they sell as a kit with it which he gets on with no problem and we recently just got back from a festival where he showed other kids tricks around his age and they all got on with it perfectly so id recommend that if you want a cheap one but if not then go for the sundia triple bearing diabolo which we have just ordered for are little as he wants the best triple bearing diabolo with the sundia short carbon sticks as he loves using mine.

Hey I've had my sundial shining for about three months and for about half that time the bolts keep unscrewing do often.. I have two sets of bolts ones with the jagged washers seperate and one set with them attached and neither last any longer even with Teflon tape around the bolt... Can anyone recommend anything to fix this? Thanks

Gear / Sundia shining mishaped cups, How to reshape?
« on: April 10, 2013, 08:37:15 PM »
EDIT: Found my answer after looking for it for quite a while recently! searched correctly.

Hey my sundia shining cups are pretty bent out of shape, i have just got the things to go into the inside of the cups to bend them back into the perfect shape but ofc they just bend back once removed. I saw a post quite a while ago about doing something like putting them in hot water and doing something? can anyone give me the full info im looking for? thanks.

Good on you :)

Gear / Thick or thin string on sundia sun when bought?
« on: March 02, 2013, 11:30:33 AM »
Hey this may seem like a silly question but ive never had a sundia and just wondered is the default string thickness that comes with it preinstalled the thick string or the thin? im guessing thin but i dont want to order 50 yards worth of string and for it to be the wrong one. thanks
