PLEASE DON'T REPLY TO OLD THREADS!

Hi all!

This is my first "negative post" i've made (i think). I just keep getting "notiications" that are quite often useless one sentence replys to old threads. Starting a new thread if it hasn't been posted in a year or more is a good idea (people have been doing this lately) which is good if it is like "diabolo injuries" or "i just learnt" but not if it is something like "need help with 3D) where you could just read an old thread.
My main point is if any thread that isn't like the ones mentioned above is if a thread hasn't been posted on for maybe around 2 weeks, DON'T POST A USELESS ONE SENTENCE REPLY!

Well suppose I had a question about learning 3 low, don't you think it would be better for me to add my question to an old thread about 3 low rather than start ANOTHER "3d low- Please help!!!" thread?

simple answer? no, because there is no short answer to "how do I learn 3D?" all people have to do is practice. Even searching through old threads you will find people with the same problems as you, the problem is that there are people with amazing new and unique topics that are being knocked off the "new topics" board because of people asking questions that have already been answered before.

So wouldn't the solution be to just merge all three diabolo question threads into the one, larger thread so that all questions/answers are collected in one location (which we have tried to do for years)?

I think this needs to be more of an advocate to use the search function, to use existing threads if they really don't answer your question, and to just ****ing read what is here - this board has been going on since 2004; there's probably an answer to "how to start 3 diabolos" since 10 million people are already doing 4 diabolos.

That would be awesome if possible. It should happen with anything, I just used 3 low as an example because it seems like we get a new 3 low thread every month or two. Could redundant questions be deleted after the asker has been told what threads to look for answers in? Just so that the frontpage isn't filled with crap like Ronnie said before.
