Butterfingers in the UK claim to have G2s in all the colours of the rainbow, even white.  I haven't spoken to Laurie in person about this, but the website does say this.  Though of course it may all just be a ploy to get rid of the old ones.  Think I'll get some red ones though,

(Maybe they could recycle the old ones...?)

really? what about the glow ones ive heard rumours about?

Gonna have to get myself a white one then, just gotta decide if its worth getting 2 so I have 2 G2's to do 2 diabolo with, or just doing 2 diabolo with a G2 and my old G1...

the yellow ones seem most popular to me - they are most translucent and so let the light kit lights through nicely.

Myself Im after a green and white one...

i think white would be most popular if they were easy to get, it seems that most people are waiting for white and a lot of europeans have just ordered a bunch of whites.

I wasn't sure wether to open a new topic or not, so I'll ask this here.

A while ago I decided I wanted to buy me 2 pink Finesses G2, but where ever I ask, no one seems to have them. Dutch jugglingshops don't even seem to know of their existence and when I asked an English shop that Sean adviced me to go to, they didn't have them either.

Why is this colour such a problem? I remember there's been the same kind of problem with white G2's. But I know Arjan and Martijn have those, so it should be possible to get pink ones too, right?

Does anyone on this forum know a shop that sells the G2's in pink?

Thanks.

Well butterfingers (uk distributor) mention them on their site but you might need to ask them about that via email.
http://www.butterfingers.co.uk

Other than that its trawl through the european shops http://www.jugglingdb.com/vendors/

or get in touch with http://www.jonglerie.com/en/contact , but at a guess they probably havent released them yet.

Good luck

Would anyone happen to know the exact wrench size for the G2s? The wrenches I've bought (and since lost) only seem to work on one diabolo as the force required to loosen the other causes  the wrench to spin freely.

cant you just take one from your stockroom? ;)

quite a few places mentioned in this thread, other than that have a look at  the IJDB's vendor list. The G2 is quite widespread now, just make sure you specify a generation 2 when ordering one

@Garfong. sorry I can't lay my hands on an allen key at the moment to check, I believe it is a metric size if thats any help.

Found the tape measure... 5 mm exactly.

(side to side, not corner to corner)
Tossing the diabolo on a daily basis!

I just got my G2s today (went and picked them up) and was quite excited at trying them out and possibly being able to refine some tricks that I haven't been doing so well at with my Henrys Beaches, namely my vortex and fan.

Though shocking as it may be, I'm not liking them very much unfortunately, which is a big stun to me because I thought I would have loved them instantly.  I'm not sure if the trouble isn't with my string length or the quality of my string.  I just can't seem to make the diabolo hover in 2.  Maybe I'm also getting used to the size, but when I backwrap, the string tends to snag on the hub instead.

Is this just something that I will get used to in time and be able to move on, because my Evo1 kits are coming soon, and I'd like to love them, but they're not playing nicely atm.

The first time I tried 2 with G2s I noticed that they kindof slide down when trying to hoover, but after that when I have been trying with a circus as other diabolo that doesnt happen, and I dont think the circus is helping at all. So I would say it is just a thing to get used to and over.
