I'm glad a real discussion is back!
Crackers, that is the ticket!
But wis' idea seemed, to me, like you face forward and you have your arms and diabolo blind and behind you
Yeah I know, that's the next step (hopefully...)
And because wrap Crackers use the release for the miniG is between the arm and leg, not from the back.
Nah, since it's behind the back, the knots are inverted. Only using external wraps, the release will be behind you and the landing between your hand and your back. Using only internal ones, the release is between your hand and back, and the landing behind you.
Either way, unless I'm missing something, if you do it continuously, you can't avoid having a moment where the stick goes between your hand and your back (even if you choose to mix up internal and external wraps).
That's the hardest part and is one of the reason why I chose to go with external wraps (and internals in regular continuous mini-gens). Because, for me, it's easier to land the mini-gen between your hand and yourself than it is to release it between your hand and yourself.
That's a big part of what makes this difficult in my opinion, since in this position it's a lot harder to consistently do the knot you want than in the regular position. And it'll probably be much worse when trying the whole thing blind.
(Hope I'm beeing clear, it's kinda hard to put this on words...)
Crackers bonus trick was sweet. Good to have him as returning guest at FDC-festival this year.
Thanks! Looking really forward to it
