Do Monobolos make vertex easier? and how do they work with one though four diabolos?

Awesome, I ended up looking at a few more videos. Here is another with slow-motion at the end. And he manages to get back into two monobolos after doing the overhead "poi-style" (not sure what to call it) tricks.

i had two thoughts, firstly, just wow. and secondly how is he still standing after spinning that much!?
in response to whether monabolos make vertax easier, i have played with one before (a long time ago) and i seem to remember the traditional ones are weighted so that they dont really work regularly, you have to put a twist in the string or something to start them and they sort of fall into vertax, so i guess you could say it keeps the diabolo flatter/ straiter in vertax?
