Stick a single line of sellotape along the handle? That will make them ever so slightly thicker, maybe enough for the silicone to grip again.

This has happened to you 4 times? Really?

I think what dose it is that: you know the metal caps at the end are removable, and sometimes to make the cap easy it remove is to slide the handle up. and the loosen the grip. and will try your guy ideas.

My grips have loosened on both sets I have, and a little bit of electrical tape fixes the problem pretty well. It just gets grimy underneath the handles which is unfortunate, and the grips will loosen again over time but it'll take a lot longer and it won't be as severe an issue the second time.

I use super glue for a few years now (the originals from Sylvestre and the Play Juggling Deos) and it works perfectly :)

Hey Nick,
with the super glue do I lift the grip and pour little pieces of glue in, right?

P.S Void and Graham why do you say it is weird and rare.

I didn't say either of those things. I was expressing surprise that (as it seemed to me,) you just rebought another set three times without attempting to find a solution to the problem.

What I`ve done is the slide the handle and the super glue on the stick, after that I slide the the handle back and let it dry, if its dried slide the mental caps back.
If your practicing only integrals or other suicide tricks it happend faster than your practicing numbers( 3,4 or maybe 5) like me, believe me I could do it so many times haha :P
What do you practice at this moment ?

I had the exact same problem with my DEOS sticks the only time they slide down for me is when I do integrals but not with and other kind of trick I just got used to pushing the handles back up after using them but I don't know how to fix it

That's why I started this thread, because sliding the grips back up was getting so old, and so annoying.

I know that trash has an account on this forum and I wonder if he knows if this normal

if you email the company that you got yours from they will probably send you new ones like I got mine from renegade and I emailed them about the sticks and they said they would replace them

Just adding my two cents to say that I've got this issue on both of my sets of DEOS sticks. I made a topic before expressing frustration with the DEOS stick design; with the grips slipping off I've found the stick itself was cut in half and taped back together, likely to remove the barrier I discuss in that topic.

This may be why the grips are sliding off; there's two separate pieces to the sticks and as you use them and they move back and forth the grips move further and further away as a result.

My gosh, yesterday I was trying to do a vertex genocide and once I swing it my stick literally broke and is hanging on a thread. I think it was that one straw that broke the camels back.

I tired to click on that link you sent and it didn't work

Link fixed. I broke one of my old sets the same way, but that's due to me being a dumbass and smashing them against a wall indoors.

Just broke my pair :S Vertax genocides are evil.
Luckily it broke inside the grip, so it's still together and usable.
