Sundia Icy Triple Bearing Diabolo - vibration?
« on: June 04, 2015, 09:07:48 PM »
Hi, I just bought a new Sundia Icy Triple Bearing Diabolo, and when I speed it up real fast, it vibrates a lot. The cups are stable, the diabolo doesn't tilt/turn, but I can feel a vibration through the sticks. I have other bearings, single and triple, and they all have some degree of vibration but not nearly as much as what I'm experiencing with the Icy. Wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences, and if this is a problem or just normal for the Icy?
I've tried tightening the screws, that didn't seem to have any effect.

Thanks

No it should not be vibrating at all - the Icy normally spins very true - sounds like something is not quite in place right - probably one of the hubs is not fully seated into the cup - give the nuts a really good tighten to pull everything together (you can't really overtighten the triple bearing set without extreme force - sometimes they feel quite tight but will still turn a few more times before they are fully done up)
