Oiling Sundia Shining Triple Bearing Diabolo Bearings

I've had a blue Sundia Shining Triple Bearing Diabolo for about a month now and the bearings have become considerably loud. Just today my new purple Sundia Shining Triple Bearing Diabolo came in and it's near silent just like my blue one when it was new. I was wondering if oiling the bearings would help and if so how to do it and what oil I should use?

Sorry that is not helpful, but I have never had the idea of oiling a bearing diabolo to quite it. I usually get replacement parts, Sorry again but you don't want to get an liquid in the bearings. Even if it is a little noisy... DIABOLO IS DIABOLO.

Technically the bearing has really thick gel like lubricant on it from the factory. So adding more oil might make it more silent. I haven't actually tested it out since I'm not bothered with the sound.

In yo-yo's people constantly wash and oil their bearings. But bearing diabolo is not exactly the same as yo-yo. If you try it out let me know how it went!

I kind of disagree with Marko there, with all the bearing toys it really matter how you keep your bearings. I'll suggest you all to clean the bearings like yoyo-dudes and dudettes do and remove the thick greasy thing that pretends to be kind of shady lubricant and use proper low viscosity oil instead. Your diabolo will be much more silent (well, to be honest have a different sound on it), and the diabolo will spin much longer. The draw back here is that you need to start acting like those yoyo-dappers and launderettes and keep washing your bearing and oiling them all the time. Like taking care of your baby, which it, without a question, is.
