ok not much to really say here, Ben took some footage of the 2005 Portland juggling festival, and asked me to edit it. it was a lot of in the gym messing around clips, so i took out the highlights and put it to music.

Matt: your pirouette grind and double pirouette grind are looking so much more solid and clean, I see chinese whipping with 2 diabolos is working for you. Nice work on the 2 diabolo ground pickup too. You look more Frenchified every time I see you.

Ryo is the man, as usual. I've seen better 4 diabolo runs by Ryo a couple years ago... he must not have been having a good day.

Thanks for the editing Matt_ and for the filming, Ben. Ben, sorry I became of no help with the editing and hosting for this video. Exams and work got crazy and all forms of personal communication fell apart on my part.

we chatted on IRC for a bit, and he just mailed me the DVD of the footage.

i'm having a little bit of a snag with the workshop--there's a little pause in the footage in the beginning (no big deal), but at the end it just cuts out (right when sync/async 3d is about to be explained). the audio is decent, it takes a little bit of paying attention to hear it 100%. also, the video, with the beginning crap cut, is about 38 minutes. no one wants to host a 38 minute video (with decent quality so you can actually see)....the only practical way is bitorrent, because no sane person wants to host a huge file like that so that one may be unreleased, since BT is not very popular here....

cant it be hosted as several 10 minute videos then? or 2 seperate videos, i remember awhile ago diaboloumberto did that with a video.(atleast i think it was him,sorry if i am wrong).

yeah sry my dad was filming and ran out of tape from filming the gym parts

there was another diaboloest there who i was talking to and doing some stuff with.. he said he read here.. and he got the whole thing im pritty shure (even got Ryo to sign his viedo tape   )

So what though? That just means that anyone who doesn't use/know how to use bittorrent is missing out, not that you shouldn't release it! I used it last time, and it worked perfectly :)
