I should've kept up to date with this thread, it just took so long to read! :P
It was me that mentioned the flag about the SJC so all diabologist could find each other as a joke, but look where that joke has got us!

Hope the shirts get produced, i'll certainly get one if they do, and well done arnie for starting this topic and getting everyone so interested in the diabolo.ca shirt.  Although i'm sure there was talk of a diabolo shirt before with bertrand's pic, i'd say this idea has progressed much further (yay!) and i think eggy's design is awesome.  Remove the small canadian flag and just leave the leaf.  After all, .ca and the maple leaf really do speak for themselves...

Good luck with making the shirts Sean (and anyone else involved) - i look forward to reading more :)

I totally agree with that. This thread was very usefull, and we came to a very neat design, nice job eggy :) The only thing left is to make Sean's avatar logo on the front into 2 colors (red and white), because else it will be a pretty expensive t-shirt. Sean, do you still have that picture in high quality?

Does anybody know a good producer of t-shirts? We'll need a lot I think... about 50-100?

Not quite sure what has been finalized, but there was a picture of Norbi I saw once that I think was taken with a fish-eye lens.  He was throwing one or two diabolos high, and the picture was taken from over head.  The diabolo closest to the camera was very large and Norbi was smaller below.  Something done like that, similar to eggy's passing picture, would be pretty cool and really make the diabolo stand out.  Also, a good caption would be a line from Sam Jackson in "Pulp Fiction."  He says, "English %*@)#%(@%*$#, do you speak it?"  Since this is one of the only diabolo forums for English speakers.  :)

Just saw this over on Rec.Juggling, a UK alternative to Cafepress to avoid those hefty shipping costs (potentially)

Spreadshirt.com

Haven't looked into it very far (shipping etc.) but could be a solution for those that want to do their own designs.  Not too pricey for a simple t-shirt.  So perhaps another way to raise a lil funding for the Diabolo.ca server?

Choik that site takes you to a german site, is that what you wanted?
If you want a UK based t-shirt supplier look at Squat Orange, they print custom shirts and you get money off for ordering in bulk.

Everyones a winner  :)

Why does the "i" and the "o" always switch around?

You know what, you're right.  I typed in the address normally and it goes straight to the German site, the English one is HERE
They have a large range or clothing items to print things on from less than £10 t-shirts to £20 hoodies (I think it's in Euros, so Imperialists, you'll have to work out the conversion).

Like I said, I only heard about it, not investigated it fully unfortunately.

Chiok, for you and anyone else interested here's an example of spreadshirt in action and from what I can see it works perfectly.

http://www.spreadshirt.net/shop.php?sid=127115

This example is from a Halo 2 clan (not my cup of tea but a friend's doings), and they explained how your own designs can be submitted along with mugs, badges, pretty much anything.  Again, I'm not a promoter but the prices seem fair and we can have multiple designs meaning we wont all look like fanboys at a convention  :)

@ looby:

Interesting stuff.  Indeed the prices don't seem too extravagent (well, a bit more than I'd pay for a t-shirt   )

Thanks for the link though, good to see what prints you can make and how much they are.
