So... VOTW is basically dead - how to bring it back alive?

In these days is everyone posting tricks on instagram. What if we repost instagram tricks (of course with permission and credits to the author) as VOTW?

I thing it could motivate people to share their tricks again

If we repost instagram tricks how do we really repost them ? Only on the forum (where the video embedding is not working all the time), on the YouTube channel or both ?

A lot of the current instagram videos are reposted on the diabolo_world account (not always with the owner's permission... ) and other similar accounts.
Shouldn't we make a dcavotw account on instagram ?

I think an Instagram, facebook & maybe YouTube combo account would work quite well. It would just be a good platform for people to gain recognition like the ijajugglers instagram page. It might even serve as a good place to share things about IDA events and just general conventions and such. Only thing is it would not survive as a weekly thing, it would have to be a more VOTD or even more frequent kind of deal because of the pace of the internet. There's similar pages to this but as Damian said they don't always ask for permission etc. I'd be happy to see something like this, curious to know if others are.

Yes, I like the idea, I am happy with it.

I will not do it on my own, nor support. I will answer any question or give my opinion when requested. No problem.

I think the best would be if more than one person took care of the accounts. I like the idea of the combo youtube + fb + insta. I am not sure how automatic it could be (that sharing in one is shared in the others platforms), but if quite automatic then it is easier to do it.

About re-posting material that is not yours. Please keep in mind Ezra tried the Diabolo Europe initiative in Instagram but they closed it given little or no reason at all.

Unfortunately just by posting here you automatically become the best candidates to do it. So if you do not want the responsibility you better think of why you would like to see it, but why you would not like to do it on your own.

Hi guys. I agree that only original content must be uploaded. Submitting other's people content is a conflict source.

About the do-ability of the project, Facebook indeed allows automatic content publishing (for those interested). Instagram allows that too (interested ?), although it is only available for Instagram Business Users. I'll be honest I have no idea what a business user is compared to a regular user.
Good news is Youtube also provides such functionnality, therefore the process could be fully automated, meaning one central admin pannel somewhere here for VotW validators that would use.
