i think i have invented a new trick can you tell me if i have

you get the string over both sticks and flick it in to a cradle.

i showed ginger_tom he said he hasent seen it before i was wondering is it a new trick

A more full and / or video would be nice and please remember to use proper english not "iv" etc. Anyway might get a shot at TOTW if its good and new.

not to sound like a party pooper or anything, but it sounds like you're just doing a japanese whip and then popping the diabolo from the bottom string to the top into a cat's cradle. which isnt really new at all.

Nah man, I love slack whip trickery and I have seen this guy's trick and I've never seen it before, plus I can't really explain it as i've only seen it a couple of times.
I'll get a video on for him, because it is a cool trick! (although he should start breaking out the 2D, thats what i'm talking about . . . . . .)

I think we should keep this thread going as a place where people can upload short movies of new stuff or combos they have invented (or think they invented).

I'd love to see other people's wacky ideas and upload my own as well. This would be less intimidating than starting a new thread, which I did with my anti-thumbcide a while back but it didn't necessarily deserve it.

Agreed. But, don't forget that if you have a new trick that you'd like to be considered for the "video of the week" series, you should submit it to diabolo.ca "at" gmail.com first. I'll do my best to let you know if it will be used. If not, then you may wish to post it here as well.

that was a cool trick, im gonna work on that sort of thing (been inspired since i saw diabology to do that sort of stuff).

but uh, if i may comment on your video....you've got about 5 seconds, maybe 7 or 8 seconds MAX of useful footage in there. in fact, like half of the video is credits. i cant speak for everyone else, but if someone is posting a one trick clip, i just want to see the trick and thats it. i didnt even look at the credits, i just turned it off when it went to em. i dunno, i hate credits for juggling movies. none of my videos have any credits at all *shrug*

yes, that's true. but it can also be displayed shortly on the bottom when the song starts..
