tried that excalibur pirouette whip catch busk does in buskonature(where you throw it out to one side, but do the pirouette to the other) with a double pirouette today - no good idea; fell on the floor while the diabolo was still in the air...don't know why, but it suddenly came down towards the floor - where I was still lying on - so it hit a very sore spot, right in the centre of my loin -> big ouch!

Good lord! Who had the camera?! Please don't tell me it was Jussi or Jouni (no offense guys) But it might be so that there are only ducks or yer face on that film .. Or old people (Old people are mostly nice, like kids)..

I don't remember and I was just going to trasfer it to the computer when I realized that the video is in Finland   .

Back on topic: Do I win a prize for having the most "Why did I do that's?". Because here's my third "Why did I do that?". I was doing some filming today by a creek.    And the other diabolo fell in the water, which was about 6 meters below. And the diabolo was about 2 meters below the surface. Then I rushed to the hardware store, bought some yellow duckt tape, a hook, some string, and a window washer. I assembled my "fishing rod" and started rescuing my precious diabolo. After 15 minutes I managed to get it back. That was a lot of fun!

Oh! Oh! I have one "why did I do that?" too! I threw my sticks and diab high up above the stars, they flew like ducks they did.. Anyway.. They got stuck on a branch. Couldn't climb up because I think I might be afraid of heights. Bough some rope and tape and ice-tea. Tied the rock to the rope with the tape and slinged it over the branch. Pulled the tree of its roots with the help of dalezilla and managed to get 'em back.

HEY!  I dont remember who was behind the camera, but it wasnt me. And I just have a different views about things. Sometimes a diabolo vid just needs some old people jogging on the background.

Okey back to the topic..I smashed my glasses once. First came the huge scars and then they splintered. It was kinda expensive to me, but whatta heck at last I learnt something what not to do.....

I once was in a park and someone asked me how high I could toss the diabolo in the air. It was quite crowded, but as it wasn't all that windy I figured I could toss it as high as possible. too bad there was a bit of wind high in the air and when the diabolo came down it went towards a group of people sitting in the park, not knowing what was about to happen. oops....   I really was very lucky to get the diabolo out of the air by whipcatch just in time, because otherwise I don't know the little girl that was beneath it would have survived...  Next time I'll watch carefully if there is enough space to do something like that!

Something else, a bit more painful was a attempt for a sun between the legs from back to front. I wasn't wearing a shirt so the spinning diabolo hit my belly to leave a burnmark which you can still see after 2 months...

I did an s-fan forward roll and hit myself in the nads today. Although i did get it a couple of times so it almost made up for it.

I've only ever backfliped once (I landed on my head on the next attempt), so there's no danger of me even tring that trick.

doing high tosses when its so dark out you cant see the diabolo. Staring into the dark sky, waiting for my Diabolo to come back down to me, not be able to discern the diabolo from the sky, I didnt noticed when It headed straight for my upheld face. I got a Handsome fat lip from that.

Probably at school when people asked how high I could throw and it hit someone who was watching in the crowd. Or maybe it was the time when I flayed my best friend to death while attempting a whip catch. Or possibly the time I threw it up high and started talking to someone. Forgot about diabolo and it came zooming towards my head.

I trusted Martijn, and got him to teach me an excalibur genocide. Several people asked me if I had been in a fight afterwards.

I was rehearsing with cardsharp for a talent show last year and dropped a trick. cardsharp was doing a sun or something as I was chasing my dropped diabolo and BAM I'm hit in the head . Luckily, we switched to diabolos a short time before that because I'd imagine that having a hard plastic Chinese yo-yo to the head would've been much more painful. We had a friend take a video of our rehearsal and it was pretty funny watching myself getting hit in the head in replay over and over again

Also I would advise never trying to grab a spinning diabolo in your mouth, it just doesn't work...

due to lack of sleep and a 3 pints of lager i decided that it could be possible to throw 2 diabolo's in the air triple back flip, whip catch them both with seperate sticks and bring it into a 2 diabolo shuffle using both strings, think again, failed my first backflip, got up pulled out my other sticks, whip caught my ear, flailing peice of string hit my eye and my other diabolo, the remaining diabolo hit me on the head, the one i caught flew straight into my nads. got a nice red eye, high pitched voice for 20 minutes, and the biggest headache possible in the morning. Well, not trying that in the near future.

I once had a tantrum with Devil Sticks, indoors, and then I got mad, so I threw them. They ended up in the wall, right through the drywall. We ended up hanging a painting there..XD

And, one time I got mad again, so I threw my sticks at the ground, and one snapped in half, but we glued it the next day.

And, I hit my dog and made her whine.

Once i used my diabolo to get my frisbee out of a tree. Funnily enough it didnt back fire, both came down just fne.

Allthough i once pulled an infinite suicide under a tree, took a short while untangling the strings.

Ah, and there was the time i hit the policeman on a bike...

At one point i noticed my circus was abit on the loose side, but didnt think much of it. Kept diaboloing then put it on a look and walked off. It fell apart and bits went everywhere. Verry nearly lost the very centre axle piece.

Also once oponed a glass bottle but broke the neck, seeing i couldnt  drink from the bottle i used a diabolo. reaaaaally not a good idea.
