Strange - I find the spinabolo has more tendency to go into wobbles at high speed than the superpins (if you stick a bit of threadlock on them to keep everything tight). Both are fantastic for vertax btw (and so incidentally are some of your tricks as I'm discovering).

The MB version is the much fabled Evo 3 kit for the finesse diabolo (a ratchet axel kit to fit the existing finesse diabolo - promised long ago and probably never to be released.

i always have to tighten mine every half an hour or so. it's not so bad with a fresh axle and bearing but the older they get the easier they become loose and the more disgusting they sound

It's when the diabolo is spining sideways so that one of the cups is facing the floor.

vertax is when you get the diabolo spining in the vertical plane rather than horizontal - basically one cup facing the ground and one the sky. Its also refered to as excalibur. Have a search around the forum - there are plenty of videos about.

alright so does that mean that anything at all involving the diabolo inverted can be classed as vertax? or does it just mean on string play?
either way i cant do it at all really. i ripped my face open doing it with a battered spinab once. but if anyone is sick at it they should try that missed trapeze double inverse suicide thing because well... i use it to get to backside of the string (bare with me i am going somewhere with this) ie genocide position. but normally it wouldn't look smooth at all after that trick but if someone could do that vertax! it would flow so smoothly into a normal genocide. that would be so sick and it is definatly possible.

I've been meaning to get a ratchet diabolo for a while, so I think I'll grab one of the spinabolo pros. Hopefully they'll be for sale at the world yo-yo contest, since there's a diabolo ladder contest going on there. You're not attending that are you LaNgErZ?

I think Worlds this year will be the most juggling-ish that it's been in a while. Sounds like a fair amount of diabolists (I'm sure many of the japanese players do diabolo too) and Jason Garfield doing workshops..

I have divX Xvid etc etc installed. What codec is this file?
