How much indoor space is there? At crawley things got a bit cramped and we had a whole theatre. But to be fair the weather was awful so thats no surprise.

Workshops come down to who offers them and what people want. If anybody has something they want a workshop on (and they are coming up ;) ) put in a shout.

I'll see if Vux is up to doing his turning workshop that he did at the EJC.
I can offer a short one on basic/intermediate 2d (preferably after corrections are sorted but if you need help on corrections get me or a friendly looking non busy diaboloist to give you  help on that early doors so you can work on it through the day).
In fact we could do with somebody to do the whole starting and correcting 2d thing
And a beggining 1d/first tricks (Its my day of from that so I'm not doing that)
Trick shares will cover a lot of the rest.

In fact, hows this for a plan, loads of diaboloists turn up, we'll annexe a corner (big corner) and hold a diabolo convention, have rolling mini workshops and trick shares. We'll ignore the games especially if they try and have us do diabolo nose push or skips under high throw*

Any chance of people bringing along video cameras so we can
A) get the VOTW entry Vux wants to submit + one from anyone else
B) produce a video with a really boring background to upset diabolo video snobs

Me too...  Séan? Any news on this?
If anyone else wants to offer... i am looking to leave Exeter anytime after 6 on friday the 3rd... You'll be helping a performer out, and you will most likely get your petrol paid for.  Sorry Séan if you have already sorted something, but you haven't got back yet so i thought i'd ask incase.

The Pomfrecians will be there.

I'm happy to do a 'making diabolo look harder than it is' workshop.

Nice one Spink, I often worry that I might have gone too far in the direction of 'making diabolo look easier than it is' 8)

looks like I've got a lift, so I should be there and am looking forward to it :)

Just wondering if I should bring a cup- is there free tea as there seem to have been at several conventions this year?

Good Day,

No one has done this for a while but i think everybode should. It's a run down of the convention. i know i would like the opinions of the people that go to conventions abroad (not the UK).

some amazing juggling of every catogory. Tiff has got some silly 5 ball site swaps,
The diabolo'ers (sorry) were out in force. i met Josh who has got his anti-spin tricks down, and always nice to have Vux there to blow your mind!! Lots of people running or practicing three diabolo.

Show was awesome, contact staff RULES.

loads and loads more, but i'm sure everybody will think this is a good idea and fill you in the rest(hint hint).

Good Day.

Indeed it was a great day. I'm afraid I can't remember the name of the first french performer but his ball act was fantastic.

On the subject of diabolo though, the 2 cups... performances were great, and Vux's Excalibur gen whilst laying down was bloody brilliant.

The worst thing about the day was the bouncers in the union/theatre.
