Yeh tis a nice vid, adds a lil bit onto the one previously mentioned, can't remember what thread    I think I understand how it works now, becuz the fan is pretty much a continuous two diabolo sun I just tried it with one diabolo to understand what happens, and i realised on the first turn both diabs need to be under the sticks when u turn, and on the second they both need to be above, i can get the 180, but not the full 360

Nice video. I can`t get the 180 nicely jet, just a little. How long did it take you to get it? I`m focussing probably 2 hours in total on it. I figure a S-Fan must be possible to do 180 or 360, does anyone can do this jet?

I still occaisionally muck up the 180 by hittin one of the diabs with my stick as I turn but I haven't practised it that much, maybe an hour in total? thats prolly why I haven't got the full 360 yet.

I dnt think an S-Fan is possible, ok so I can't do it with either yet but attempting to simulate the movement on the floor ends up with the darkside diabolo having a Sun type twist in the string after a 360 degree turn.  If someone manages it feel free to prove me wrong as this would be a sweet trick  8)

well it take 1hour for me to have the 180 ;) and the rest of the week for the 360.. but i've thought above it... a lot of hours to find how to do a 360 fan... without any vidéo ;)
the 360 S fan is possible but realy borring cause realy too much accélérate... so it's difficult to keep it clean ;) and there is a knot a 180 °!!
for the tips well.... just work on the 180 ° for the moment for exemple.. cause the 360 is more easier when the 180 is realy clean ;)

Yeap, have a look at this little videoclip. Hope it helps. If you're righthanded, you have to turn to the left.

I´ve been looking around and I wonder if there is an actual reason to be able to do 360 fan both ways?

I can do it both CW and CCW but this shouldn´t really look all that different to "normal" people. Is there a trick or combination that makes use of turning both ways (besides turning 360 and back again).

I think it's good for your technique, but yeah it doesn't matter. I do think that for every Fan there is a specific way of turning. If I try to do the regular Fan 360 turning left, I end up with 2 twists in the string. They do get out nicely after making the 2nd 180. If I (attempt to) turn to the right, the string won't get twisted, so apparantly turning to the right for a regular Fan is the right way to turn.

Thanks Tijn, I was trying to turn to the right with the s-fan. Hopefully get it soon now!

Fan 360 problem
« Reply #27 on: October 22, 2007, 11:49:43 AM »
I have a little problem with my Fan 360:

I do Fan 180, and return to Fan 360, but when i return i have a wrap on the left diabolo and when i finish the Fan position, i have 2 backwraps on the diabolo.

Any idea what's the problem ?

When you turn around, the right diab goes 1st.  When you turn back to the Left AC fan, the right diab doesn't go between your arms, but on the side, following by the other one.  it is sort of like a anti-big sun.
