Which sticks for a newb?

Hi, i'm going to get a diabolo (for the first time) and am wondering which sticks you all would recommend for a beginner (i'm not goign to be doing any fancy trick, yet, but i don't want them to break either) i was thinking about getting either the carbon fiber or the alluminum ones, please tell me what sticks you prefer, and why.

any advice is greatly appreciated!

ps, i have decided on a circus diablo, but if anyone thinks that circus isnt the best, or good, plz tell me

I love the Henry's Circus and the Henry's alu sticks. You can't go wrong with those. With other setups... you may.

if your on a budget then get wooden sticks.  i've used them for more than tw years till i switched to carbon short.  but it's bad for suns and suicides because the string will wrap around the stick and the string will get shorter.

Well, you can always modify them, drill a hole on the end of the sticks, just like an Henry's ally.But then they're more fragile, as an disadvantage. I have never broken any sticks, but it depends on style and aggression .
