alu handsticks

Hi! I was wondering if alu handsticks varied much from brand to brand and model to model... and the difference between passe passe alus and henrys 32.5cm alus in particular. I am currently using a friend's passe passe sticks and am finding them pretty comfortable, except for most stick release tricks (but not vertax geno ^_^) as I've only used light wooden sticks previously. I've read around on some threads and found that henrys alus seem to be the favorite by far, so I went ahead and ordered a pair two weeks ago.. but today my order was cancelled because they were out of stock. So now I'm considering just getting a pair of passe passe sticks instead if they're in stock and would like to know your opinion. Thanks in advance!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and loose my impartiality long enough to say that I dont even consider the Passe passe sticks as actual diabolo equipment.

Get the henry's

The club ordered a load of the Passe Passe sticks under the impression of "quality" and sufficed to say, they're not unfortunately.  They did come with some cool, if not useless, black stick though which was miles too long.

I wondered whether the sticks were aluminium because they were so heavy.  The grip isn't particularly large or comfortable and thus throws the balance of the stick off.  Plus I think they're a bit long as well.

Order from another place if possible, unless you really can't wait.  The Passe Passe sticks will seem like a big one-up from your wooden sticks, but it'll be another even bigger leap if you go for Henrys.  Depends how much money you have, and how long you can wait.

Thanks for the advice guys =] I think I'll get the Henrys from a different store then or wait for them to restock.
