The difference between how fast you learn tricks between a Circus and a Finesse will be minimal, if at all. I can tell you all about the strengths and weaknesses of them (see the guide ;) ) but you should try to pick the one you are most comfortable with. If you are unable to try either of them out, just buy one of them -you will not be dissapointed as they are both great diabolos.

As for handsticks; Henrys sticks are nice for grinds as they are thinner than most of the other sticks around. Either their carbon or aluminium sticks would suffice in that respect.

Hope this is of some use,

-Leo

Sorry to add a post here, but you talk about dry soap for henry yellow string. I'm french and i found no translation of that.

So have you another word for "dry soap" ? Thanks

"savon" is the french word I think?

When the soap isn't wet rub it on to your string.

oh i'm so silly, i thought it was some special kind of powder, i couldn't imagine soap could reduce the 'slippy' feeling...

I was thinking that the Sundia Suns should be included in this guide soon, but I still haven't played with them (should've at Manchester but I forgot.)

Anyone able to help!?

Does rubbing soap on the string shorten its life?
Suns are great, I'd use them if I didn't already have 4 Flys
Some benifits: counter sunk shiny washer, more scratch resistant than Flys, the outer rim has more...?meat?, and really good to play with!
Disadvantages: lack of colours (clear is cool though), fixed/wide option only, can't combine parts with Flys.
I'm sure someone else could add some more info on it.

Leo, hey i just checked the list trough. I think there's a little better
knot for wooden sticks. So i could collaborate in with that one.
Lucky for me i have the materials on the net already.

http://www.kumiankka.com/indexeng.php?sivu=theknot

Go to this page and you can link or copy the materials there (about the knot), on your guide.
You can even use all the pictures and video if you want to but please don't modify
them, without my permission. The english dub with the video is pretty awful but it will
do. ;)

modify: looks like to youtube link ain't working like it should. I'll try to upload the video again. -Yup, i should work now.

the knot should have a normal over hand knot at the end just to make sure the string stays in place

:) As you wish, master. :D

Woodensticks:
No, seriously. That is just what you should avoid. The knot
is in the way with many tricks. Unless if you drill a hole for
the knot.

Others:
Probably the overhand knot will work. I haven't tried.

Hell will freeze over before the official bearing mod comes out. You're best off either modding a G2 with spinabolo guts or buying a fly.

umm i just noticed that the part about the evolution kits for finesse is wrong i think.
The evolution 2 is supposed to be the bearing and the evo 3 are the 6 and 10g weight kits. they're the same kit

You're right, I must've been asleep when I typed it last summer. Although to be honest they might aswell call one weight kit the evolution 2 because that bearing axle isn't coming out any time soon.

Cheers for that,

*bump*

This article needs a bit of an update;
Sundia Suns
Evo kit 5
LED kits for Sundia diabolos
Weight kits for Sundia diabolos
Fixed axle bolts/kits for Flys
More info on OLOBAID's handsticks, like if any cons have been found etc.

The descriptions of handsticks could be a bit more detailed.

Since this is a community effort... why don't you suggest what could be written? I'm sure Leo would appreciate a post here or a personal message.
