« on: August 14, 2007, 03:45:35 AM »
Has anyone here actually ordered form http://www.kineticjuggling.com/   ????

I was planning on buying my circus' there because its $43. Where they ship out from is New York City,a any I live in New Jersey, which is the state right next to it, so it should ship pretty fast.

Does anyone know shipping methods? UPS, USPS?
and the cost?

You know who's probably the best person to ask your very specific question?

Sky herself. Through her website kineticjuggling.com

Try her webform:
http://www.kineticjuggling.com/contact_us.html

or heck, if you're that close, phone her: 1-646-391-6472

Or just go through the checkout and see what it says.

A little research yourself can go a long way toward gaining respect (and useful replies) from your fellow forum members.

well, im going to stick to this thread and ask about another vendor.

the vendor is:    http://www.renegadejuggling.com/index.html

They seem to be pretty good because its $40 for circus w/ wood sticks w/ strings.

I'm also curious why they put down Henry's Circus diabolo as Euro Circus diabolo instead. and also the Mr. Babache Finesse, they put down Euro Finesse. anyone possibly know why?

Seems to be a US phenonemon, rebranding juggling props names just to confuse people
(or maybe so they dont go online to find other sources of Henrys/babache/beard etc balls, clubs and other props over and above there own products)
Possibly it's due to when they used to make there own diabolos (that were different to the euro style rubber diabolos offered by Henrys and Babache

so if i were to order my circus' from there, do you think if would be the real Henry's Circus?

also, where can you buy teflon hubs, or just plastic hubs. Sean said if would help.but then the thing is, if i change the hubs, its going to change the weight, which i dont really want because I want it heavy. somewhere like 270-300g.

yes they are real circuses

jugglingstore.com has them: http://www.jugglingstore.com/products/diabolos.html#o     and I'll bet others do as well.

they also sell a "giant" version that comes with a set of wider plastic hubs pre-installed (cheaper that way)

you don't want the weight near the axle - it's dead weight that doesn't contribute to stability or spin time

If you want something heavier, get Yohos, but order from Japan, they are more balanced than elsewhere (google for Naranja)

I'll probably just keep what I have for now. Then maybe later in the year I'll pick up something. Probably the ultra light kit. Bu then since i still want some weight on them, could i keep the metal pieces on the outside instead of replacing with the plastic? Or is there no point in that.

By the way, I still cant believe a couple pieces of metal and plastic in the kit costs $18. ???

actually, i can get it for 40. Im not going by Euros or any European money system. I'm going to US dollars. So if you wanna do the math you can do this.

go to google and type

40 USD to "blahh"

"blahh"=the type of money you use, and it shhould transfer to the right currency.
