I was watching the Diabology DVD and saw the brief shot they have of their diabolos in a pyramid. 36 diabolos in that particular picture, All Finesses apart from 2, 13 of which are white I think... And that can't be all of them probably as they have Circuses as well. Mr. Babache must love them.

I was wondering how many diabolos other people had and why you have that many. I personally only have 3, one cheap toy one and 2 Henry's Beach and only use the latter (doing 2D atm). I do intend to purchase 2 Finesses, hopefully in white or red.

Plus, estimates on how many diabolos the MFP do have? All nine together, some "twin-wheel" craziness there.

p.s Does the Evo 4 show through all colours apart from blue Finesse?

I got 2 radient for my first diabolos about a year ago. I then proceded to get 2 circus cos they are better plus i bought a lumo circus for those UV moments. From here I got 2 Finesse which i love and recently i got a micro diabolo.

Oh dear that makes 8 Diabolos!!!!!!!! bit of a diabolo geek really. i only bin at it for 9months!

- 2 MB Arlequino midi's (one of them is a cheap replica

)
- 2 Henry's Circus (blue/black)
- 2 MB Finesses G2 (red)
(planning to buy an other Finesse G2 (white))

I only diabolo with my Finesses since I bought them. Circus is now too heavy

We have:
4 MB harlequin large
5 Henry's Circus
6 MB finesse G2

our dad diabolos a little as well, and the harlequins were our first ones. THen we got 5 circus so nate can do 2 while Jacob does 3, then got 6 finnesse to have one extra, and for when nate does three (soon as the outdoors is of a temperature which my bare fingers can bear more than a few seconds

)

Ewww, can you imagine 2 monster diabolos going at it, kinda like thinking of your parents. Wanna be careful with them, inbreeding and what not, could have an orgy on your hands. Maybe that's how a one sided diabolo came about...

I own 6 diabolo's.
- 1 cheap toyshop one (wich I started with... nostalgia...

)
- 1 Henry's Viper glow in the dark
- 1 Harlequino-like-thing, don't know how it got there
- 2 MB diabolo's of wich I don't know the name, but they look like small Finesses or something

- 1 Circus

I mainly use the Circus, and when praciticing 2d I take those MB's.. maybe one day I'll buy myself Finesses, 'cause I tried them in Ieper and they felt really nice!

I have preordered 3 finesse G2.

It started with the cheap ones, and I just wanted to upgrade all the time.

I think I have eight. There's the three Henry's Circus I actually use (two of them nearly 10 years old now), and five renegades. I don't use them any more but I have 2 with Flare brass axles, which added a bit of weight which was nice at the time, and 3 normal ones.

It seems everyone started off with some form of cheap crappy diabolo from Toys R Us or somewhere.

Shame that you're not able to get Finesses in Sweden, not very in the know. I wish I had the money to get 3 Finesses are 3 Circuses. Must be how toss jugglers feel about buying silicones. It's pretty similar in price. I'd love some silicones too. Just want this and want that really...

I didnt start with a crappy toy, i started with a Jazz, the toys were given to me by well-meaning grandparents that knew i liked diabolo and thought they were giving me something really useful and cool.

2 monster diabolos (they are a killer for running 2)
3 circus
1 old renegade
2 jazz
3 different little plastic toy things
3 finesse G2's on preorder
oh and some i forgot... 1 arlekino, 1 rubberking, 1 jumbo harlequin, 2 fyrefli fire diabolos.
so i guess thats 19, wow i thought i only had 4

2 finesse G1 with evo axles and weights
1 medium rubber from someone who used to be into juggling
1 glow in the toy nasty thing that I use to keep change in
1 semi decent plastic thing I learnt with, but prbably held me back a lot

First I thought this was your guess at the total owned by the entire Mad French Posse, then I remembered having this exact same discussion with you and Donald Grant backstage at Chocfest. I think his total beat yours, didn't it? He moved house and discovered he had about 80.

I have 9 or 10 left over from when I used to run juggling workshops. I only use mini Flairs regularly and a red brandless one I bought in a shop in France back in 1996 that I perform with sometimes, though not for jugglers.

I only have the 4:

1 Fire Diabolo
2 Harlequins
1 Finesse

But im almost certianly getting another fire diabolo and another finesse, plus im sorely tempted by a couple of mini diabolo just for the comedy value of doing 2 diabolo with diabolo smaler than juggling balls!

Plus im tempted by a ratchet diabolo cus the finesse axel is taking ages to come out and i want to experiment (no-one else I know has them).

Lets see...

I started with a cheap jugglebug diabolo

Then I got a harlequin

Then I got 2 circuses because it seemed like it was considered the standard around good diaboloists

Then I picked up another circus at a convention

Then I bought 2 micro diabolos, and my sister got 1 micro diabolo as well

So I guess that adds up to 7 that I own, 8 that are in my house including my sister's.

In the future I might consider getting some finesses, I love how bright the colors are, and the fact that you can put lights and extended axles on...but not for a while though.

And I've only been diaboloing for 11 months now!
