Help in infinite suicide stick correcting

When i do infinite suicide for a while my left stick begins to change its spinning circle that the string touches my diabolo and turns it. How do i correct the stick at that point? PLZ help

Good place to start. Also try fiddling with the angle of the right stick in relation to the floating diabolo. Fiddling is always good in all walks of life..
