Invertax
« on: December 13, 2007, 12:38:09 AM »
Recently, i've figured out how to go into vertax while in backside, so the side that normally is up in vertax is down.
The motion is much different then vertax.
I wondered if anyone had any comments on this style, and some tricks that could be made out of it.
And yes, i'll make a tutorial, as soon as i get a dang camera >_<
Has anyone else done this?

This has been done for a very long time. I was planning on a whole video of inverted vertax tricks, I can do a suicide, close to a genocide, and have many diferent suns and stopovers. Also behind the back. My July video had a darckside inverted to regular. THe point is this is far from new.

It was the first way I managed to get into vertax, not via backside but because left BW is my standard 1d whipping technique. It even has a name 'Ackicaliber' sp?.

Still, i don't think you understand what im talking about.
You start with a backside, and go into vertax from that.
Its not just doing it with a backside, its actually having the cups the opposite direction of normal.
Try it with a bearing diabolo and you'll see more of what i mean.

Yes it's been done.  That's how Matthew and I do lefty right passing excalibur.  He has a backside when he accelerates and I have a normal wrap.

So will you release a video with this? I definitely want to see it.
