Is it tacky?
« on: July 17, 2007, 09:55:04 PM »
I have two blue Finesse G3's, and I'm planning on buying two blue light kits for them and if my parents let me some blue Diamond Sticks. Yes blue is my favorite color, and I just think I might be over doing it.

Cool, lol I thought it was getting a little far there, but I think I will still buy other colors later because it's easier to follow something that has different colors.

Theres nothing wrong with using one colour. Look at Pete's yellow g2's. I'm planning to buy green flys, green Xtremes and maybe green string when I get the $

Ok, well if anyone had any objections which so far is no. I just bought 2 light kits for my finesse, both blue.

Just for your information, you won't be able to see the light through the cups particularly well.  Not a huge issue if you turn the lights on both sides, but just so you know.

I bought 2 different colour light kits so I would have a change of colour, maybe green, maybe rainbow.  I thought I was so smart...

What do you mean? It seems in all the videos and pictures, that the light goes through blue finesses with blue light kits fine...

Compared to all the other colours (except white of course) blue lets the least light through.

I think Vux used blue with red light kits to good effect, this was back when they first came out and red was the strongest colour.

Ah, well I don't think it would be a problem because they work best in low light, not no light, so with the available light and the slight glow of the diabolo I think it should work out well enough

Color coordination is always good :)

Although I personally like to mix things up, since I have a red/yellow, yellow/blue, and blue/red finesses with each of their light kits (although two sets of my rechargeable batteries don't work :().
Plus I have a pair of Rainbow Gold Sticks that Olobaid makes with orange/red Henry's string
