High level of technique, wonder when they have 15 Ofek-copycats doing 4diabs on synchro  ::)

The box thingy didn't impress me much, it's not that hard to add 42* to tricks.
The last trick is awesome though, respect  :o

Of course, there were so absolutely gnerly 3D skills there. The 1D was all the same as everyone taiwanese video.

that trick is sure one of the greatest 3d tricks i have ever seen.. (and box isnt bad either)

but his 3d control is even more amazing, it looks like he is doing 2 diabolos..

I really like that double accelration with no diaboloswaps. It seems like a smooth and nice alternative to a bounced one. The box and that other trick (whatever you call such craziness ;D) were just so awesome. He seems to have really nice control.

Question: is it absolutely necessary to use 42 and such high throws for the box to be relaxed. I´ve been practicing it for a few days and can do it back and forth a few times pretty solid, but my exit is always instant. It´s never a 42 it just drops down straight into the shuffle. Also, I dont make the throws anywhere near that height. Is this wrong or bad technique maybe? I practice with low roof so I think that´s why I make the box like that, but is it bad (in which case I´ll stop working on it at home)? Sorry if this should be in another thread, but I figured it would be good to get help here since you actually make the trick ;).

Tshing Nian diaboloist leg orbits!?
« Reply #37 on: September 12, 2008, 10:26:26 AM »
hi
i stumbled across this amazing vid (that made 3d look too easy) and whitnessed a leg orbit that i couldnt imagine how to do let alone do it.(but i tried and failed, miserably...need new tv lol)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZcQmjlnvwk
its at about 47 seconds fromt the start
it basically looks like a fast leg orbit, but i dont know how to do it anywhere near that speed..
is there a wrap of some sort?
i thought it might be some kind of sprinkler thing with one diabolo and his leg but the strings too short?
anyone know how to do it ?

(btw if you know what the first song is called plz tell me!)

Do a recapture and put your leg through the gap before the cross. You're in the position, other than that I just seem to think its been sped up.

I like the first half of that video. Some nice ideas and styles. Particularly the 2 people sharing 1D. The 2nd half was just numbers chasing trick monkeys™ though.

As for the orbit, I think it's "just" done fast by driving. Hard. But yes, I think the footage gets sped up in the middle of the trick.

Meanwhile, you'll have to excuse me, but there's this field that needs being in.

funny, I never thought being in marching band would teach me anything, but their group formations are not very high quality at least to high school band standards... but hey they probably know nothing about that kind of thing but it's still really cool I wish there were that many diaboloist in america ;D
