Jim asking for your help (Garrote)

so yesterday i tried to do the Garrote trick and hit my self in the face.
Reading the trick from diabolotricks i get to this point and go "wha..."
Hook under the diabolo and pull upward and rightward with the Right stick so the diabolo begins a Clockwise Sun motion over your head and to the right.
Can you great people explane what it means and different and/or better ways to do this trick.
I thank you for your time.
P.S my face hurts.
Throw it up high mate.

I learned it from watching Jibe's movie.
at the beginning i just skipped the throwing the diabolo up part. i justmoved my left hand around my neck, went around the diabolo and swung it around my neck. once you get that down you can practice the more complex version.

For those who want an idea about which trick is being talked about.

Basicaly the trick seems to be-
Have the diabolo close to the left hand
Put head between strings
Bring right hand over the head so that the string starts to drape over the back of your neck
Reach under the diabolo (right side)
Scoop/sun/bring right hand up to pull the diabolo over the neck so you end with the diabolo as if you have caught it crosshanded

have a look at the Scoop Catch, Scoop Sun, and the Cross-Arm Toss
pretend the arm is your neck and imagine entering it calmer.
