Trash's Web Special Releases
« on: June 08, 2008, 07:27:15 AM »
Alright, I'm hoping this is a new trick so I'll write up a tutorial for it- Video coming later;

1. Perform trash' web, casting with the RIGHT stick
2. Keep the right stick stationary, making sure the web stays on it as you circle the diabolos axle Counter-Clockwise with your left stick
3. Now swing your diabolo to the right and upwards, as it peaks let your sticks point upwards too.

Your diabolo should fly upward, and release itself from the string.

I suppose you could also use other release tricks as a replacement, like inverse trapezes or spaghettis, saying as how trash's web is still on open-string, only with a cool pattern in the string.

Yeah, I've been doing this for 2 or 3 years, sorry :-)
It's a pretty nice way to get out of the web, by turning it into a magic knot and also changing the pattern of the web into a more arrowy shape rather than zig zag. Followed by a whip catch it's a nice little combo to show people unfamiliar with diabolo.

Yeah, I've just been playing with trash's web a lot recently.

I've been working on a whip that's both a J-Whip and a T-web at the same time.
Basically you cast the web a lot nearer to the diabolo, so it gets caught up in the string- I think there are some good possibilities for new release tricks.
