Genocide from arm orbit backhand/scoop catch
« on: April 01, 2005, 12:47:59 PM »
Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents.

I have recentley learnt mini-genocides out of inverse arm orbit and really want to know how to get into to position from regular arm orbit.

There is a bit on Diabology where Erik is in arm orbit, catches it rubber arm and then does a little mini genocide but catches the stick before it does a full wrap around the axle, putting him in the  position  to mini genocide in theother direction.

I can catch the diabolo from the rubber wrist but always enf up with about 2 or 3 wraps in it. does anyone have any tips for making the first stick release a little slower?

THanks :)

This is a beautiful trick.
Try to throw the diabolo higher, and move the stick slower, but i think that the best tip is to be faster catching the stick after the mini genocide.
Good luck

not sure if you're doing this, but don't let go of the string until you've caught the stick, so you don't have to move your hand. just aim so the piece of string is hit so the stick goes right to your hand. hope this helps.
