Park Life
« on: June 15, 2008, 08:53:35 PM »
Hi,

I know it's only a couple of months since Diab-Hola but thought I would make a vid this weekend which is shot in two different parks in my city (Bristol, UK.)

Apologies in advance for the sketchy piorette  :P and the repetitive Trashwebs  :P but with regard to the latter, there are variations I think if you look carefully.

Thanks

Jem.

Nice video Jem, I'd like if you did some creative angles some more though  ;)

Great tricks however, suicides were good, and nice slacks, nice result overall.

BTW were those bearings?

Holy slacks! Thanks for sharing. Very cool. You're doing Trash proud.

I'm guessing those are white bearing flys?

Nice to see some swinging in a video again. Its overdue for a comeback. Makes me want to go and watch Rémi's part in Diabology.
Overall, a nice video. Good Work, Sir.

Nick.

Very tidy Jem, I like the idea of taking one base of trick and developing it throughout one vid.  We're in need of a park session sometime soon, it's been too long.  Which park is it by the way?

Cheers Guys  ;D

I hear that Bro, I will work on the angles next time. Thanks for comments.

its interesting to see how many variations you can get out of one trick.

That's what I thought, when you put your mind to it the variations grow and it's addictive.

Very enjoyable video, Jem. Now I've got some inspiration to go and mess with Trash's Web again.

Thanks very much Duncan.

I liked the last 2d trick.

Thanks Crackers, I'm working on a better exit and I'm hoping that trick is a prototype for something better....

Good to know that you see it that way, thanks.

Thanks Sean, yes (and also to others who asked) they are bearings. I never used bearings (or Flys) before until I got them two weeks ago. Taking some getting used to but getting there with them now.

Thanks Nick, I thought the swinging made for a nice break from the slacks.

Thanks Louis. The one park was behind Victoria Street (Temple Meads end, it's near where I work) and the other is the Oldbury Court Estate in Fishponds. It would be great to meet up for a sesh in the near future - lets arrange it soon.

Thanks again guys, all the best  :)

Holy 6 foot long string Batman!  Long string does make slacks, webs and fans look silky smooth, perhaps that's just your fine technique.  Who knows?

maybe it's because jem seems really tall? I've never seen Priam do slacks, but imagine they might look similar
