Martijn's still kickin ass!
It was tricky to see the sticks sometimes infront of the brick wall, but still a great video!

 :o :o :o

Now that I've used my smiley quota up: That was fantastic!

Good to see you're still diaboloing, I thought you might have been having a break, seems like anything but that. Great video, keep on doing what you're doing. Your site was one of the first to motivate me to pick up a diabolo and practice, so it's good to see that you're still active.

(So what've you got for the collab? [insertextrasmileyhere])

Darn you, moffet.

I'm just poor. I'll get crystal suns to learn 3 for christmas if jugglingstore doesn't get taibolos in.

I figure "if the taiwanese can use them for 3, i should too"

Awesome stuff, I liked the creativity, and it was hilarious! I also really liked that it was only two locations, each had a really nice aesthetic. Great work! take a smaller break between videos this time please!

..most of the time when people use only two locations in a video other people tell them to put some more effort in finding locations - now it's a good thing?

Anyway, there were some creative tricks in the video! fun to watch :)

I think the 2 good locations fit well with the "work in progress I'm letting you in on a practice session" kind of theme (or rather officially "stuff I'm working on"). But, no, I guess a variety of interesting backgrounds is not usually a bad thing either. Anyways...

1. Is that a Jack Johnson shirt?
2. Your white suns have a kind of hyper-glow look to them outside. Lovely.
3. Took me 3 watches before I realized that "look! a worm!" wasn't the name of a new move.
4. Bob and weaved de-interlacing rocks.
5. I like the little suicide move at 0:40
6. 1:34 "The backscratcher" There, the move has been named.
7. 1:41 Nice grawlix
8. 1:46 I think I remember you making me learn something like that in a video tennis match way back when! :)
9. 2:02  No, really, what the hell? Nice reaction.
10. 2:07 love that move
11. 2:56 My favourite part
12. "The neck greaser" ... makes you looked possessed
13. 3:15 Ha! Don't worry, I closed my eyes.

Awesome.

Once you're suitably emabarrased we'll change the frame-shot.  ;D

Ha yeah, what Sean said. I wasn't even planning on releasing this on the forum - it's just a practise vid, I know a brick wall or a bush with lotsa tiny leafs is not a proper filming background (boy, I had to use a high bitrate to make it watchable!) I did put a bit of effort into the editing though. Glad you all liked it! Thanks for the positive comments.

@ Leo: don't worry, I'll have some stuff for the collab vid :)

1. Is that a Jack Johnson shirt?

Ha! It's not actually. It's from a Dutch rapper. I don't know if it's clear, but the print is a tree with hands for leafs (just like the cover of his debut album).

2. Your white suns have a kind of hyper-glow look to them outside. Lovely.

Yeah, that happened on a few spots where the sun shines through the tree above me. Fly's look great on video!

8. 1:46 I think I remember you making me learn something like that in a video tennis match way back when!

Not really... the tennis move was something like an under the leg crossed catch. These backside bounces are a bit different. (although there's nothing new about backsides or backside throws :P) They don't look very impressive though.

10. 2:07 love that move

To be honest, that one is stolen from Arjan as well. I tweaked it to my own style, so I thought I could pull that off ;D

I don't agree. Because I wanted to show them first what a kewl move I found! I'm very childish about it really...
Well since I haven't put out a video for a while it's always a risk someone stealing your thunder.
Other than that, I found the majority of this video not soo intresting. Except for the use of comments and lines on the video material and the happenings.

What I do have to say is that I'm glad you gave the credits for it, that's fair enough.

Liked it, solid video and nice music. Very much liked the style with some stickhits, you don´t see that very often. "Frenchcombo" looked good too.
What were you doing when you bowed your head down in that one clip though?

That last trick looks a little like something I´m working on currently (same start except I only throw one stick). What´s the thought in your trick (it looks interesting)? Geno both? That´ll be difficult... ;)

What's the White diabolo that you're using?

I tried pausing the video lotsa times so I could see what color the hubs were, which would decide between Sun/Fly but I can't pick it out.
