« on: October 30, 2008, 11:52:04 AM »
Ive searched, but i couldnt find any detailed explanation on how fan swinging works, ive been trying it for a while now and i just have no idea where to start. Ive tried to find a slow motion video to get the hand motion but i couldnt find any  :( Can anyone explain to me how to do it?

With all fans your driving hand goes in a small circle parallel to the diabolos to keep them straight. With a fan swing, or 3-beat (correct me if I'm wrong), take your driving hand and have it lead the diabolos to the right (assuming your right-handed) then with your left arm crossing under your right have the right lead back over the the left, with your left arm uncrossing as if follows. Finally bring your right arm back to the middle with your left hand following... (this is all just with hand movements as I type actual practice may be slightly different but this is the jist of it)

I personally used the AC-fan to learn
