Woah! Congrats on the talent show!  Win any fabulous prizes? :D
I got my first small taste of showing off for people yesterday, there's a lawyer's office next to our house and the office ladies always come outside and smoke on their break, so when one came out I was practicing my diabolo outside ^^ She was all "What's that?  Oh neat!  I have a grandson who would love that!"  (Unfortunatley all I could complete to show off for her was throwing and catching and a few bad trapezes and some failed forced-suns-to-right-trapezes ^^;  But she thought it was cool. )  Was it like a high school or community talent show thing?  Congrats again!  Just one more reason to love diabolo!

Integral suicides
Vertax genocides, only a few ropey ones but a tricks a trick ;) (this trick rates almost as high as a string climb or high throw in the impressing bystanders)

So thats two more 1d tricks to cross of my list, back to 2d where my heart really lies.

The sun is here and the tricks keep coming.

I get slapped around if I call it that by old school UK diaboloist (same if I call a hyperloop a sprinkler) ;)

I'll be scaring people with it in Salford if my back stops playing up.

Vertax genocides,

Isn't "vertax" Norbi's clever name for two diabolo excalibur?  A two diabolo s-fan excalibur genocie would be a nice trick though....

No, it's just a better name than 'excalibur' is.  'Excalibur' was a daft name for a sword, let alone for a diabolo technique!  (smiley, IMHO, etc)

yeah but we like to mess with Norbis head ;)

Vertical-axis : vertax. seems to be the name that UK diaboloists and jugglers on the convention scene are calling it these days,

You have given me a great idea for a trick though JuggleBG, just need to learn and perfect s-fan vertax (piece of cake)

I'll fire something in either the 2d excalibur thread or the horizontal videos and ideas thread when I get my head around it (or put it into VOTW and achive godlike imortality)

I don't know now i think it gives it a nice dramatic name. Its just got that feel when i'm showing all the diabolo newbs tricks at the club and i think its time to get excalibur out on these mo fo's. cue dillusions of armour and round tables

Ok Ill bite on that se´an...
I learnt to do the S-fan above the head. I can do it for at least 15 full turns most of the times... Ill soon try the lying on the back as well.
Im not sure if this looks as great as it feels  (it feels Amazing!) but Im sure this one wil be part of my show once I get one of the exits solid...
Thanks John and sean for all fanny inspiration...

I've been practising alot with 1D trapeze combos like Antonin does (and did in the WJF I believe).  Haven't quite formed a full inverse-cross armed-squinty eyed combo yet, but I'll get there (have to read more about the Dead Point string position thread more)

And I've been practising it around a club I stuck out of a drawer, because wrapping up the diabolo with a wrong trapeze got too annoying.

Doin' the left outside 2d sun for about a couple of weeks now...yesterday I rather mechanically (accidentally so to say) did it the inside way and it worked the first time. Seems to be much easier too, because you don't have enough space to do artistical string moves to catch the diabs. You simply "catch" them and go on...

Also trying the sprinkler but don't get out of it without a mess.  :(
