Just need to post here to bump this back to the top of the board. Martijn's away right now but he pre-posted this.

I think I have RSI from getting the layout to look right!

Awesome choices. There is another video I was about to mention but my mind just went blank.

Yes, they were great other vids this year, but I think the choice was difficult, hm?
But great vids!!
For me it is "it's tricky", because I like the fun.
Keep it up

Tony Frebourg's trainings video impressed me the most this year, I think. It isn't a slick edited video though, more a skill video than a real diabolo video. Nice list, sums it up pretty well. Oh, and I am honoured I made it onto the list :)

hm, the d.ca collab vid is the best video xD,
but i think it shouldn't count. i choose stepz as the best video in 2008, and it's tricky is the best only diabolo video 2008^^

I think the best videos in there are stepZ, CoNtInGeNcY and Horizon :-), cause I love mini-genocides and the integral combos.

Some of the videos mentioned above are indeed classy pieces of art, but they simply didn't make it to my final list. After all, the post is called "My favourite videos"...

Thanks for your efforts Sean! I'm sure that was a terrible job to do :(

I think it didn't make it to his favorites list because of the variety of the backgrounds and the editing.
This Blog is'ntjust about the video with the best tricks in it.It was about the best video in general and that's why Stepzzz definately deserves to be the best video of 2008 even if there's not only diabolo in it!

Yup, Pranay's right. I had some vague guidelines in my head, in order to be able to compose the list. For example, "Lame. William Lame." didn't make it, because it wasn't intended to be a nice diabolo montage. It was basically a practising video with only one backdrop.
